Zhang Shouzhong, whose name is Lin Ming, is the master of the fourth floor studio and the master of shousu hall. His works include shousu collection and Zhang Shouzhong's calligraphy collection.

Zhang Shouzhong, a researcher of Hebei Institute of cultural relics, is a self-taught scholar of ancient Chinese characters. He is good at the study of Warring States characters. He is an expert in compiling reference books of ancient Chinese characters, a member of Chinese archaeological society, a member of Chinese Calligrapher Association, a member of Hebei archaeological society, and a member of Hebei cultural relics appraisal committee. He was born in Beijing in 1936 (Yihai of the Republic of China). His ancestral home is Fengrun, Hebei Province. He joined the army at the age of 15 in 1951. He developed a good style of active and hard work in the army. He transferred to the Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Administration Committee at the age of 20 in 1955, and began his life of archaeological work. In his weak years, he studied in the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for three times. Because he paid attention to the combination of theory and practice in his work, he soon changed from layman to expert and became the backbone of his professional work. In 1956, Shanxi Provincial Council for cultural administration set up a cultural relic work station in Houma. Zhang Shouzhong was sent to Houma. He was one of the organizers of the work station. He worked in the front line of Houma archaeology for more than 10 years and participated in the investigation of the ancient city site of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in Houma, the excavation of the copper casting site, Shangma cemetery, Qiaocun cemetery and Houma oath site. In 1960s, he studied in famous calligrapher Deng Sanmu and ancient philologist Shang chengzuo. During more than 20 years of archaeological work in Shanxi, his main scientific research achievement is that he participated in the compilation of Houma alliance. Houma alliance was published by the Cultural Relics Publishing House in 1976. It is one of the rare important archaeological reports in China in the 1970s.

In the autumn of 1976, Zhang Shou Zhong was working in the Hebei Provincial Institute of cultural relics. After more than 30 years, he diligently strive after his working or retirement. He was a multi term producer of his scientific research in his later life. After publishing the Zhongshan Wang Fu script (Zhonghua Book Edition) in 1981, he wrote a book on "the text of Qin Di bamboo slips in the tiger land" in the last century. (cultural relics press, 1994), "Baoshan Chu bamboo script edition" (cultural relics press, 1996), "Guodian Chu bamboo script edition" (cultural relics press, 2000). In the past 40 years, he compiled five Warring States script reference books, such as Houma Lianshu Zi Biao, which made great contributions to the study of Warring States script in China. Zhang Shouzhong was born in a famous official family in the late Qing Dynasty. Since the 1970s, he has paid close attention to the history of the late Qing Dynasty and conducted in-depth investigation on his family history. He has compiled Zhang Renjun's Diary of family letters (China literature and history press, 1993) and selected works of Zhang Renjun's ink (Hong Kong Mengmei Museum, 2006), providing new materials for the study of modern Chinese history. Zhang Shouzhong was fond of calligraphy since he was a child. In his youth, he studied zhuanli calligraphy from the famous calligrapher Mr. Deng Sanmu and copied ancient characters from the famous paleographer Mr. Shang chengzuo. He was one of the influential calligraphers in and out of Hebei Province. In 2005, when he was 70, he held the "Zhang Shouzhong calligraphy exhibition" in Hebei Provincial Museum.
