Zhang Kejia
Zhang Kejia, former professor of School of animal medicine, China Agricultural University and editor in chief of Chinese Journal of veterinary medicine; He has also served as a member of the veterinary expert advisory group of the Ministry of agriculture, director of the Chinese society of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, executive vice chairman, chairman and honorary chairman of the Chinese veterinary medicine branch, member of the first, second and third sessions of the Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia Committee, and member of the veterinary discipline group of the National Teaching Steering Committee of agricultural universities. He is a famous animal medicine expert in China.

Professor Zhang Kejia, Professor of School of animal medicine, China Agricultural University, member of the Communist Party of China, famous Chinese veterinary scientist and editor in chief of Chinese Journal of veterinary medicine, was born in October 1937 in Changde City, Hunan Province, Han nationality. In 1959, he graduated from the Department of veterinary medicine of Beijing Agricultural University (now known as the school of animal medicine of China Agricultural University). Later, he stayed in the University as a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor and professor. Mr. Zhang Kejia died in Beijing at 13:55 on November 4, 2009 at the age of 73. Professor Zhang Kejia has also served as a member of the veterinary expert advisory group of the Ministry of agriculture, director of the Chinese society of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, executive vice chairman, chairman and honorary chairman of the Chinese veterinary medicine branch, member of the first, second and third sessions of the Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia Committee, member of the veterinary medicine section of the National Teaching Guidance Committee of agricultural colleges and universities, visiting researcher of the Chi Institute of Chinese medicine of the United States, China General manager of Agricultural University Press, deputy editor and chief editor of Chinese Journal of veterinary medicine.

Professor Zhang Kejia has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of Chinese veterinary medicine. He has taught Chinese veterinary medicine, veterinary acupuncture and moxibustion, Chinese veterinary prescription, Chinese veterinary ancient books and other undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Professor Zhang Kejia has been committed to the teaching and scientific research of Chinese veterinary medicine for a long time. He is a famous expert of Chinese veterinary medicine in China. He teaches and educates people, trains a large number of excellent professionals for the country, presides over and completes a number of national scientific research projects, and has made important contributions to China's livestock and poultry production and epidemic prevention and control. In 1978, Mr. Zhang participated in the re publication of Chinese Journal of veterinary medicine. He served as the editorial board member, executive editorial board member, deputy editor in chief and editor in chief successively. He devoted a lot of effort to improving the quality of the journal. He was still examining and approving the manuscript in person until the eve of his death.
