Modeling, performance evaluation and optimization of complex system simulation
The production system, transportation system, communication network and satellite system, electric power network, oil and gas pipeline, public service and financial system involved in our life and work are all complex systems. Due to the network connection between the components of the system, the overall performance of the system is affected by the various parts, especially the occurrence of a catastrophic event at a certain point will quickly spread along the network to the whole system, resulting in significant economic and social consequences. Some obvious examples are: information security, traffic jams, financial crisis, large-scale water, electricity, gas and so on. These problems require us to come up with some ways to ensure that these man-made systems have good performance, such as self-tuning, automatic optimization and self-healing. From the two application backgrounds of intelligent transportation system and enterprise network, this paper mainly studies the simulation modeling, performance evaluation and optimization.
Theoretical research and application development of intelligent transportation system
Intelligent transportation system (ITS) is a real-time, accurate and efficient transportation integrated intelligent control and management system, which integrates the advanced information technology, data communication technology, automatic control technology and information processing technology and applies them to the whole traffic management system. It is imperative to realize informatization, integration and intellectualization of urban traffic and expressway traffic in China. My research interests in the field of intelligent transportation system include: using complex system analysis method to simulate urban intelligent transportation flow and evaluate the performance of control strategy, and then optimize and control the traffic flow; using new technology and means to detect reliable traffic parameters; communication system of intelligent transportation system and data management and data mining technology, etc.

The contents I am interested in include: architecture of enterprise network, application of multimedia in enterprise information integration, information system integration, etc.
