Wu Yifu (1772-1844), a native of Daxi in Yongding, was a native of jupo. In the 60th year of Qianlong, Yimao Enke (1795) was a member of the Imperial Academy; in the 24th year of Jiaqing, Jimao (1819) was a Jinshi; Chen kangbang ranked 53rd in the second imperial examination; he was granted the title of editor (zhengqipin) of Hanlin academy, which was compiled by the National Museum of history. The article is broad and elegant, and the inscriptions and seal cutting in the city are mostly from his own hands. Calligraphy is vigorous and respected by scholars. In the reign of Gengyin of Daoguang, the magistrate of Fanggong hired the chief to compile county annals and local documents. He is the author of sawdust.
Life
Jiaqing 24 years (1819) second class Jinshi, later selected as the Academy editor, in the Academy of national history as editor. Yifu is one of the only three people who were awarded the second grade of palace examination of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Yongding County. After more than a year of service, he refused to be blackmailed by GUI and Hu. He wrote a poem called "sentimental affairs". It says, "Mei is thin and pities herself, Bing Yujie is noble, and he is not afraid of ghosts." one year later, GUI and Hu learned that GUI was very angry, that is to say, Yi Fu and his younger brother Wu Yi Yi (who was also the head of the household department at that time) were officials in the same Dynasty For the sake of "loyalty and filial piety", general Zuo Zhun Yi Fu was sent back to his hometown. Yifu had no official career since then. In 1824, he abandoned his official position and lived in seclusion in Daxi. In the 10th year of Daoguang (1830), the magistrate Fang lvqian proposed the revision of Yongding county annals. Yang Yifu's literary name, specially appointed as the chief editor. In less than a year, the old chronicles were revised. The lengthy parts of the old chronicles were deleted, and the Ming Dynasty tax and service materials were added to "verify the current politics". The biographies were reclassified and supplemented. Later generations commented on its revision as "deep integration of historical examples, with foresight", which is the best work of Yongding county annals compiled by Qianlong and Wang Jianchuan. Yifu home does not associate with the powerful, but is fond of landscape poetry, and likes to talk about mulberry and hemp with relatives and friends. The article is rich and elegant, and the preface and couplet of the inscriptions in the city are mostly written by the author.

He is the author of sawdust compilation, and there are four biographies and four couplets in Yongding county annals of the Republic of China. In more than a hundred years, he was the "Hanlin Gong" who was admired by scholars in Yongding and loved by his father and elders. Up to now, there are still many beautiful talks about him among the people.
