Ren Sheng
Ren Sheng, MD, State University of New York, President of Institute of biomedical applied technology, Huada, Guangzhou, vice chairman of China stem cell Committee. Mainly engaged in the basic and clinical transformation technology of mesenchymal stem cells. We have gained rich experience in stem cell treatment of liver cirrhosis, ascites, type 2 diabetes, avascular necrosis of femoral head, rheumatoid arthritis, myocardial infarction, organ anti-aging treatment, etc. we have led Huada medical team to establish stem cell clinical medical transformation platform, and set a new school in stem cell anti-aging research, taking the lead in carrying out umbilical cord and autologous fat cell anti-aging treatment in China Old project.
Personal resume
He graduated from Harbin Medical University with a bachelor's degree in 1986, a master's degree in 1991, and a doctor's degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2000. worked in tumor prevention and treatment center of Sun Yat sen University in the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University respectively, and engaged in minimally invasive imaging for 30 years.
Main achievements
In more than 30 years of work, we have completed a number of difficult operations, such as super selective Bletilla striata hepatic artery embolization, second thoracic vertebroplasty, percutaneous anterior abdominal approach lumbar discectomy, percutaneous transabdominal radiofrequency ablation of hepatic portal metastases, anterior cervical discectomy, interventional treatment of huge retroperitoneal tumor, carotid bifurcation stent placement, transjugular vein embolization More than 10000 patients of various types have been treated, including portacaval shunt, stent exclusion for giant hemangioma, minimally invasive operation for lower extremity arterial occlusion, etc. In China, we have taken the lead in carrying out minimally invasive interventional therapy for disc herniation, infertility, tumor embolization with traditional Chinese medicine, and dual interventional therapy for femoral head necrosis. It involves a wide range of diseases and techniques, and is proficient in various minimally invasive techniques. in 2003, he began to pay attention to the research of cell application technology. At that time, the treatment of stem cells was limited to the simple treatment technology of autologous cell cultivation and intravenous infusion, and the choice of disease was very few. At that time, there was a vague idea that as long as the cells entered the body, they would swim to the site of the disease. Under the influence of this concept, the application of stem cells is extremely simple, and the therapeutic effect is not ideal. Dr. Ren is acutely aware that the way of stem cell input is an important factor affecting the therapeutic effect. in 2009, we cooperated with our team and successfully treated an Indonesian patient with liver cirrhosis by using stem cell hepatic artery interventional technology. Before treatment, the patient had severe ascites, elevated transaminase and severe jaundice with grade 3 liver function. One week after treatment, ascites disappeared, albumin increased and transaminase decreased. The case was completed on June 27, 2009. It is the first successful case of liver cirrhosis treated with allogeneic stem cells through interventional therapy in China. from 2009 to 2013, Dr. Ren successfully treated nearly 1000 patients with various diseases by using his exquisite minimally invasive technology and stem cell technology. Including: severe liver disease, uremia, diabetic complications, Parkinson's disease, sequelae of cerebrovascular disease, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, lupus erythematosus, chronic obstructive pulmonary emphysema, chronic pancreatitis and other diseases. at the same time, we have also expanded the plastic and cosmetic technology, successfully completed the biological stent breast augmentation technology, biological stent facial skin filling technology, and micro needle implantation hair generation technology.
