Yu Wen Xu Zhong
Yuwen Xuzhong (1079-1146), formerly known as Yuwen Huangzhong, was given the name of "Xuzhong" by Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty. Shutong, a native of Guangdu, Chengdu (now Shuangliu, Sichuan), was a minister and poet during the Song Dynasty.
Yuwenxuzhong was a Jinshi in 1109, and successively held the posts of daily life Sheren, national history editor and Zhongshu Sheren in Song Dynasty. During the reign of Jingkang, he was responsible for negotiating peace with the Jin people and was promoted to the Privy Council. However, he was dismissed a few days later because of political struggle. After the fall of the Northern Song Dynasty, the imperial court investigated yuwenxuzhong for his fault of participating in the negotiation of peace and demoted him to Shaozhou (now Shaoguan, Guangdong).
In the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty, he went to the state of Jin to serve as a diplomatic envoy. After being detained, he became an official of the state of Jin. He became an official of the state of Jin, a minister of rites, and successively granted the titles of the Duke of Jiyang and the founder of Hanoi. In the sixth year of Huangtong (the 16th year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty, 1146), he was killed for suspected rebellion. After he ascended the throne, Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty bestowed a posthumous title of "Suzhen" to Kaifu Yitong and his son Zhao.

Yuwen Xuzhong was originally named Yuwen Huangzhong. The ancestors were the royal family of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. During the reign of emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty, Yu Wenji, a counsellor, worked in Sichuan, so his son settled in Sichuan. Yuwen Huangzhong was born in Guangdu (now Shuangliu), Chengdu. He was a Jinshi in 1109, the third year of song Huizong's grand view. He entered Beijing in 1115, the fifth year of Zhenghe, and was a living resident and editor of the National Academy of history. Six years, Ren Tongzhi Gongju, except tongzhilang Zhongshu Sheren.
In 1122, Tong Guan, Cai you and others decided to open Bian Yanyun. Huang Zhong, a member of the Tongguan shogunate, was appointed as the chief of the Xuanfu envoys in Hedong, Hebei Province and Shaanxi Province. After Xu Zhong arrived at the border, he gradually found that the Song Dynasty's temples were miscalculated, so he accused the commander in chief of covering up the shortage of money, soldiers' lack of training, and equipment, and opposed abandoning the alliance of Chanyuan. Instead, he wanted to use Khitan as a barrier to resist Jin and Xia. Later, Shang Shu said that the commander in chief was not human, and suggested that he take advantage of yelvchun's death to withdraw troops and negotiate peace with emperor Tianzuo, and predicted that "the disaster of China will not be settled." It's also a "period". In addition, he wrote letters to Wang Xuan, Zheng Zhongzhong, Yu Wencui Zhong and Zhao Ye, imploring them to persuade Wang Xuan. Because of his old teacher's failure, Huizong was ready to retreat. In order to continue the battle of Yanyun, Wang Yi hid all Huang Zhong's suggestions and did not report them to Huizong. After occupying Yanshan Prefecture, Wang Jian wrote for Jiying hall and knew Tanzhou (now Miyun, Beijing).
Later, Zheng Zhongzhong recommended Huang Zhong to know Qingyang and serve as the marshal of Huanqing road. Huizong gave him the name of "Xuzhong". At that time, the imperial court planned to attack Xixia by Gao Qiu, but Yu Wenxu couldn't say anything. It happened that Gao Qiu did not dare to lead the army, so the final plan was cancelled, and the empty middle was not worth mentioning. He changed to Bozhou.
In the seventh year of Xuanhe reign, Yu Wenxu was a Bachelor of Hanlin. Tong Guan wanted to take Yunzhong prefecture (today's Datong, Shanxi Province), but Xu Zhong thought that "Yunzhong prefecture has a vast territory. If it is recovered, the amount of money should be three times as much as that of Taiyuan every year, and the fortresses and fortresses should be built. There are no less than hundreds of fortresses. Today, where can we get out of the financial shortage? The garrison troops and horses are taken directly from one place, and the border is doubled. Where should they be moved? " He points out that he can't defend even if he is occupied. Yuwencuizhong and Li Bangyan also strongly admonished Huizong of the Song Dynasty, so they didn't implement it.

In August 1125, Wanyan zongwang and Wanyan Zonghan attacked the south. In October, Yanshan government was occupied; in December, Nianhan was close to Taiyuan. Huizong inquired about the officials' Countermeasures in Baohe hall. Yuwenxuzhong urged Huizong of Song Dynasty to issue an edict to punish himself and save people's heart. Huizong agreed, and ordered Xuzhong and Wu Min to draft the imperial edict. Xuzhong took out from his arms the draft that had been written last night. There were more than ten things on the draft, such as releasing the palace maids, canceling yingfengsi, xichengsuo, liushangju, dashengfu, and neichen sending money. Huizong agreed.
The imperial court decided to take Huazhou as the boundary of military affairs. To the East, it belonged to heguan and was responsible for guarding baimajin, Xunzhou (now xunxian County in Henan Province). To the west, it belonged to yuwenxuzhong and was responsible for guarding Heyang Mengjin and Luoyang Zhuling. Xuzhong proposed to use zhongshidao, a retired general in Chang'an. Huizong agreed, and appointed Xuzhong as the grand Bachelor of zizhengdian and the Xuanyu envoy in front of the army, who was responsible for commanding the Xihe economic and strategic envoy Yao Gu, Qinfeng economic and strategic envoy zhongshizhong and the two armies in the west of Beijing to defend the capital.
Xuzhong left Beijing on December 28, and traveled between Heyang (now Mengzhou, Henan), Zezhou (now Jincheng, Shanxi) and Longde (now Changzhi, Shanxi). He set up the defense lines of Hedong road and Taihang Mountain, and made Heyang's ministers responsible for the defense of Zelu, Luoyang's ministers responsible for the defense of Zhengzhou and sishuiguan. At the same time, he called Yao and Zhong's troops to the capital, and they could not obey Tongguan's command.
Xu Zhong meets Ma Zhong at sishuiguan and is ordered to lead his troops to Tuanbai town in Taiyuan. At that time, the Jin people had defeated he Guan, and the cavalry came to the city of Kaifeng and plundered in Zhengzhou. Xu Zhong was worried that the road from Shaanxi to Kaifeng would be blocked, so he ordered Ma Zhong to return to Kaifeng immediately. Ma Zhong, however, did not lose his trust, defeated the Jin army and killed six Jin generals in the area of pushe Temple (today's Jinwang temple in Zhengzhou) and daoshidian (today's Shilipu in Zhengzhou). Xu Zhong claimed that the number of Shaanxi troops was as high as 500000 (actually only 190000). When Jin Bing near Zhengzhou learned about it, he withdrew from various small villages and gathered in one place, so that the road to the west of Kaifeng was finally unblocked.
In the first month of the first year of Jingkang (1126), because the Western army had not yet arrived, Xuzhong captured the troops of he Guan and Liang Fangping in Gongzhou, Bozhou and Suzhou in the southeast of Kaifeng, and got more than 20000 people. Li Miao, who had already served as an official, was re commissioned to lead these troops to the capital along the Bianhe river.

< sub > the battle of robbing villages in song and Jin Dynasties
In the first year of Jingkang, after the peace treaty was concluded by Emperor qinzong of Song Dynasty, Wanyan zongwang transferred his army back to Mengyang. On February 1, song general Yao pingzhong took the opportunity to attack the Jin soldiers in the night. He was defeated and the Western army collapsed. So Wan yanzongwang came back to encircle Kaifeng the next day.
On February 2, Yuwen Xuzhong and Li Miao came to Kaifeng, stationed outside the Chenzhou gate of Kaifeng, and then let them down into the city of Kaifeng. Song qinzong wants to send someone to tell Wanyan zongwang that the general made the decision to attack the Jin army. He also asks that the peace talks remain the same, and whether it is safe to see King Kang. After robbing the stronghold, Jin people executed song envoys whenever they saw them, so all the officials did not dare to go. Only Yu Wenxu Zhong volunteered to send envoys to Jinying.
On the same day, after receiving the order, Xu Zhong went to the duting post in the city to meet with the envoy of the Jin Dynasty, Wang Wei, and proposed peace. Later, Yu Wenxu took off his armor and imperial seal, and ordered his entourage Zhang Gai to shout "Yu Wenda Zi" and go out of the city to enter the enemy camp. It took him a long time to meet King Kang. Later, he saw Wanyan zongwang, who was convinced to burn the siege equipment in front of Xuzhong. In the evening of the next day, wanyanzong sent Han Guangyi to the city with Xuzhong. After emperor qinzong ordered Xuzhong to go out again and make sure to bring King Kang back. So Xuzhong went out of the city again and returned to Kaifeng with King Kang and seven other ministers the next day. After that, he was promoted to the Privy Council and refused four times before he was frightened and ordered.
On February 7, he was sent to Jinying for the third time to urge Jinjun to return to the division. Wanyan zongwang began to promise to withdraw in April. Yuwen Xuzhong insisted on negotiation. From Chenshi to Shenshi, zongwang finally agreed to withdraw on February 10. On February 10, Xu Zhongren served as a farewell envoy to monitor the withdrawal of the Jin army. When the Jin army withdrew, Xuzhong and zongwang met and talked about the three towns. Xuzhong sobbed and said nothing. Zongwang changed his face and asked, "the two dynasties are making peace, but the Privy is not happy. Is there any bad business?" Xu Zhong replied: "the shadow Hall of Taizong is in Taiyuan, and the ancestral Mausoleum of Shanghuang is in Baozhou. How could the emperor have the heart to cut it off?" Zongwang said, "this matter is discussed." Xuzhong immediately asked zongwang to leave a letter and promised that the three towns could be discussed again. After that, the East Route Army of the state of Jin withdrew and went north.
Impeachment and demotion
After wanyanzongwang's retreat, yuwenxuzhong was still worried about the West Route Army led by Yuhan in Hedong, so he discussed with two kinds of soldiers and Yao Gu about defense strategies, such as strengthening Tangluo fortification in Hebei, recruiting refugees from Shaanxi in Hedong, and so on. He hoped that the Privy Council would implement them, but his colleagues all said, "we are in the court, so the Jin people will not come. Why should we have equipment to defend?" Xu Zhong retorted: "if the main peacemaker refuses to equip, the main combatant does not lose his division according to his strength, and despises the enemy as a girl, will he not lose his country?" Tang Ke and others were envious of Xu Zhong's contribution, so they launched a platform admonition to impeach Xu Zhong, saying that Xu Zhong's army was not Jin people but bandits in Hebei.
Xu Zhong felt isolated and helpless, so he asked himself to be released, and was demoted to Qingzhou on March 3, the first year of Jingkang. Qinzong secretly sent people to give Xuzhong gold belt, tea medicine and Jinqi. Yuwenxuzhong also said that Qingzhou and Jinren were across the sea, and bandits were rampant, so we should strengthen our prevention. It is also suggested that 10000 cavalry troops be set up in the outskirts of Beijing to defend the capital. When the political opponents heard about it, they further impeached Xu Zhong and demoted him to the palace on the 25th. In order to ensure the death of Xuzhong's people and government, he burned all Xuzhong's defense plans, and all Xuzhong's old generals such as sun Anjie were idle.
Later, Yu Wenxu lived in Jiangning mansion (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province) with his brother Yu Wencui. In the first year of Jianyan (1127), Li Gang was in power. During the period of Jingkang, all the officials who participated in the peace talks were exiled to Lingnan. Xuzhong was also demoted to be the Deputy envoy of Anyuan army and resettled in Shaozhou (Shaoguan, Guangdong).
