Sun Xu, pseudonym Xuelu, was born in 1904 in yongxingchang, Xinjin County. He was smart and quick in writing when he was young.
He first learned from Mr. Liu Xianrong in Chengdu. After studying in Chengdu youth church school and engineering school. In 1929, he went out to study in Sichuan. At the same time, he joined the Communist Party of China in Shanghai. He was a member of Chen Duxiu's "proletarian society" and was responsible for the editing and printing of "proletarian" in the printing factory. The next year, he joined the left wing writers' League, engaged in translation and writing, and was a member of the Chinese Communist League organized by Chen Duxiu, engaged in the secret workers' movement in the Western District of Shanghai. Sun Xu was arrested in 1932 and sentenced to five years' imprisonment in Nanjing for the crime of "endangering the Republic of China". Sun Xu was released from prison after the outbreak of the war of resistance against Japan, and then he was exiled in Xialuo, Yunnan Province. He took teaching as his career. He was respected by his students for his erudition and good teaching skills. Sun Xu is good at literature and history. He is good at writing and English. He has translated books. After joining the "left wing writers' union" in Shanghai, some articles were published in newspapers and magazines, and the collection of Xuelu poems was published. Although there are many other works and works, they were lost in the Anti Japanese war.
Sun Xu was a quiet and broad-minded man. Although he was divorced from the party organization and in poverty, he was optimistic and calm. When he stopped cooking at home, he played chess with his friends. His wife urged him to find rice. Sun Xu laughed and ignored him. He still concentrated on playing chess. Because of his excellent chess skills, he was selected by Yunnan Province to participate in the national chess competition in Hangzhou in 1964, but he was unable to do so due to illness. In 1965, sun Xu died in Yunnan. He was 61.
