Kong Xianglin (1852-1917): the 75th grandson of Confucius. The word shaozhan, Guangxu Dingchou Jinshi, change Shu Ji Shi, granted editing, calendar official Henan tixue Shi, and the Department of political envoy. There is the manuscript of Qiangzi Kuanzhai. He threatened the people. Qufu county (now Qufu City, Shandong Province) is a city dweller. He was elected in 1875 (the first year of Guangxu). In 1877, he entered the Imperial Academy as a scholar.
In 1880, he was the editor of Hanlin Academy. Later, he successively served as the assistant examiner of the National History Museum, the same examiner of shuntianfu rural examination, the chief examiner of Gansu Province, and the grinding and prospecting officer of shuntianfu rural examination. In 1890 (the 16th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), he was appointed as a grinding and prospecting officer. In the following year, he was ordered to supervise Hubei Province, and put forward the proposal of the clergy of classics, history, science and arts. After Ding mother worry, resign home. In 1894 (the 20th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), the Qufu mathematics school, the agriculture and mulberry Bureau, and the craft farm were founded. In 1902 (February 28th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), Zhou Fu, the governor of Shandong Province, went to Jinan to organize Shandong academic affairs and Industry Affairs, and established Shandong Academic Affairs Office and agricultural industry and Commerce Bureau. In April, he went to Japan to study academic affairs and industry. After returning to China, he planned to build normal schools and industrial schools in Shandong Province. Among them, the four schools in Qufu and the four schools in Qufu (the predecessor of Qufu Normal school today) were built by him. In 1904 (the 30th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), he also served as the general office of caojidao agricultural and mulberry Association in Yanyi, and set up the agricultural and mulberry school. In 1906, he was ordered to act as the tixue envoy of Henan Province. In 1908, he concurrently served as the inspector general of Henan Province, and managed the official affairs of the three departments of the Patrol Police Bureau. In 1910 (the first month of the second year of Xuantong), he was appointed as a first-class counsellor by the constitutional editorial office. In August, he was promoted to the chief minister of Henan Province. Because of his contribution to harnessing the Yellow River in Henan Province, he was awarded the second grade official title. In 1912, he resigned. After returning home, he organized the "Shangshi society of Qufu" and opened up mulberry garden outside the southeast gate of Qufu and behind the residence to offer industrial courses. At the same time, he also wholly organized Shangshi primary school and founded public welfare undertakings. In 1914, he was elected as the premier of Qufu Confucius Association. In 1916, he became the president of Qufu Confucian classics society. He died at home in 1917. His works include 2 volumes of the theory of Confucian classics and history and filial piety, 2 volumes of Qufu Qing Confucian writings, 4 volumes of Qufu stele research, 10 volumes of Sishu Dayi Jiyao and several volumes of Qiangzi Kuanzhai Zashu.
