Qiu Jing
Qiu Jing, with the name of hande, was a magistrate of Wudu County (now a native of Chengxian County in Gansu Province). He was an official of the Han Dynasty. This is the earliest example of clearly naming ancient books in the history of calligraphy, thus establishing Qiu Jing's position in the history of Gansu ancient literature and calligraphy.

There are four seal characters of "Hui'an Xibiao" in Zhuan forehead, so it is also called "Hui'an Xibiao". It was carved in June of the fourth year of Jianning (A.D. 171) in Tianjing mountain, Chengxian County, Gansu Province. This stone knot has high ancient characters, solemn and majestic, simple and thick brushwork, both square and round, and powerful brushwork. Yang Shoujing commented: "it's Square and magnificent. There's nothing missing at the beginning and the end, especially Baozhong." At the end of the inscription, the writer "Qiu Jing" was engraved, creating an example of Calligrapher's signature.
Qiu Jing's artistic features
"Ode to Xixia" is known by scholars and calligraphers at home and abroad as "the crown of Han cliff inscriptions" and "the treasure of Han Li calligraphy". The characteristics of the calligraphy art of "Ode to Xixia" have been discussed by scholars of ancient and modern times. Kang Youwei of Qing Dynasty commented: "shudang has" Ode to Xixia " Liang Qichao praised: "xiongmai and quiet, Hanli regular also." Ode to Xixia, originally known as Huian Xibiao and commonly known as Huanglong stele, is a cliff stone inscription in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is located in Fengquan gorge, 13 kilometers west of Chengxian County, Gansu Province. It was engraved on June 13, the 4th year of Jianning (171 A.D.) of Lingdi (Liu Hong) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. The cliff is 500 cm wide (including the title at the back of the text and wuruitu at the front of the text), 315 cm high (including the title amount), and covers an area of about 15.75 square meters. The four characters of "Hui'an Xibiao" inscribed in Xiaozhuan are precious authentic seal characters of Han Dynasty. The main body is composed of 20 lines, 20 words, 385 words. It mainly describes Li Xi's family background, political achievements and moral conduct, praises his virtue of being a gentleman and his remarkable achievements in benefiting the people. The title is 12 lines, 142 characters in total, and it is a small lettering in Lishu. In front of the text, the cliff in wuruitu is 110cm high and 210cm wide. It has pictures of Huanglong and Bailu on it, and pictures of mulianli, Xihe and ganlujiang (Chenglu people) on the bottom. It has animals, plants and figures. It is a group of ancient rock paintings with exquisite conception and exquisite painting and carving. It can also be regarded as treasures of ancient murals. It provides a reference for later generations to study the painting, carving art and philosophy of Han Dynasty The first-hand materials are preserved.
