Jingzai, whose birth and death date is unknown, was born in Shuntian Tian'an (now Hebei Province) and lived around the beginning of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. In 1659 A.D. (the 16th year of Shunzhi), he was a Jinshi. He was appointed as an official of Yangfu in shanxiping. He was very sensitive and was afraid of it. Especially good at prison sentence. He replaced Yongan county magistrate and arrested Li Zongtang.
