Xia Yu
Xia Yu (birth and death unknown), word Yun, Jiangning (now Nanjing, Jiangsu) people. Political figures and strategists in the early Ming Dynasty. You Juncai, Gongshi, doctor of Zhongshu province. He and Liu Ji helped Zhu Yuanzhang fight against Chen Youliang in Poyang Lake, and then fought all the way to Zongyang, Anhui Province. After his death, he was buried in Lujiang, Anhui Province

Together with Liu Ji, he drafted Zhu Yuanzhang's call for Chen Youliang. In the early years of Hongwu, he was in charge of all the prefectures in eastern Zhejiang. The history of the Ming Dynasty is well-known. The Xia family in Lujiang area of Anhui Province is its descendant.
