Zen
He was a monk of Dinghui temple in Jiaoshan, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province in Qing Dynasty. The word Yuehui. The date of birth and death is unknown. He was alive around 1847. The common surname is Lei, from Xuyi (now Jiangsu Province). In 1853 (the third year of Xianfeng reign of emperor Wenzong of Qing Dynasty), the Taiping army captured Zhenjiang, and Jinshan and Beigu were burned one after another. In his time, Chan Gong was the abbot of Dinghui temple, but he led the monks to defend it, and sent people to guide the officers and soldiers to attack and guard it. Therefore, Dinghui temple in Jiaoshan was preserved. He is able to write poems with gentle and elegant style, gentle and graceful feeling, and makes positive response to real life. The work is concluded as "Liu Sheng Ge Shi Chao".
Lao Chan, commonly known as Xu an, was born in Jilin in 1921 and died in Liling, Hunan in 2011. In 1946, he advised Chiang Kai Shek in Nanjing to attach importance to peace and maintain the stability of the country and the people. After Chiang Kai Shek held the national assembly, he began to practice Zen and escape, and his mantle was handed down to Cao Shizhen. He wrote the true Sutra of Zen and passed it on to Cao Shizhen.
Worldly fate
Liao Chan was born in Jilin in 1921. Because his father died early, his mother's surname was Xu an. In his early years, because of continuous war, he traveled with his mother to Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan and other places, and lived a vagrant life of begging.
Young people suffer
When Xu an was 13 years old, his mother died of hunger, cold and fatigue, so Xu an begged for a living in Henan. Either because of the early experience of life joys and sorrows, watching the world turmoil, or influenced by Shaolin customs. Xu an became a monk when he was 23 years old and became a Buddhist. It is said that before Zen became a monk, there was a sad and beautiful love. He just sighed about the world and taught Zen that everything is empty. Since then, there has been one less amorous man and one more ascetic monk. But who knows, the one who practices Zen is self perfection, or the one who practices the late love. after the Zen, he got married with the temple and traveled to other places. He made peace with the situation and enlightened people. His footprints are all over the South and north of the Yangtze River, and most of the literati in Jiangnan area have their origin.
Buddhist heart
In 1946, on the eve of Chiang Kai Shek's National Congress, Liao Chan discussed Taoism with Zhongzheng. What he discussed was not Buddhist principles, but a lot about the book of changes. At that time, master Zen said to Zhong Zheng: "the general once said," the land is divided into North and south, and people are divided into old and young. They all have the responsibility of defending the land and fighting against Japan. "Can we know that our Buddhist also said that" people are divided into North and south, and Buddha nature is not divided into North and South "? No matter north or south, my Buddha hopes that the benefactor will love others with benevolence and show mercy to all the people in the world. " At that time, Chiang Kai Shek said, "the master is well versed in Buddhism, but he doesn't know how important things are in the world. I will think of all the people in the world In the same year, Chiang Kai Shek held a national assembly in Nanjing, where he retired after hearing the news. Since then, he has been ascetic and seldom heard of his name.
One heart to Buddha
Although he was born into the world, he was proficient in the study of joining the world. Many entrepreneurs paid homage to him and asked him to release himself. What people like to talk about is that they love tea but don't drink tea. At that time, many entrepreneurs were deeply disillusioned after discussing Buddhism with Zen. They wanted to give Zen gold and silver, but when they got to Zen, they just asked the benefactor to offer incense to Buddha and make tea for themselves. The Zen only enjoys the fragrance of tea, but does not taste the taste of tea. He gave a lot of alms in his life, but there were few disciples. He was nearly 80 years old before he became attached to an 18-year-old unruly boy, who was Cao Shizhen in the school behind the temple. However, other monks in the temple don't like Cao Shizhen. It's said that when he first came to the temple, he offended the Buddha. However, he always thought that he had a Zen heart, so he often became enlightened. According to the students in the school, Cao Shizhen stubbornly dropped out of school to participate in Buddhism in the first semester of senior high school because of his Zen enlightenment, and no one could dissuade him. Although the author has not studied this matter, from his Shi Shuo Zhen Yu, we can see that it should be true. Although he did not accept Cao Shizhen as an apprentice or give him a shave, he passed on what he had learned all his life to this teenager. All his life, he wrote only one book, which was called "the true Sutra of lechen", but it never appeared. After the death of lechen, he only left a letter to his disciples. Later, the true Sutra of lechen was passed on to Cao Shizhen along with the letter. After the death of the Zen immortal, local celebrities gathered in the temple and chanted the Scriptures devoutly. On the 10th day and the 10th night, the temple incense continued. He was born in Xuyi, Anhui Province. He was born in Moxi and Haiyin. He was good at painting and poetry. Later he presided over Dinghui temple in Jiaoshan. There is "Liu Sheng Ge Shi Chao". He was in the era of Daoguang and Xianfeng, and his poem Gancheng can describe the current events in Jiangnan at that time: < br > < br > originally, he was an unintentional guest, why he was born in all senses. It's hard for me to judge the common feelings. Old rain in sorrow, new poetry in dream. Mo Yan's books are lazy to send, but Kuang's troops are not suspended.
< br > old rain refers to old friends. Old friends are dispersing in their sorrowful arms. Please don't blame me for saying that I'm too lazy to communicate with you. Years of war have made people worried, and I can't send them! references
