Wu Qiyuan, born in 1925 in Gulin, Sichuan Province, is a calligrapher.
Wu Qiyuan (1925 ~) was born in Gulin, Sichuan Province. He is a member of Sichuan Calligrapher Association, a creative researcher of China Senior calligraphy and Painting Association, an art committee member of China culture and Art Development Promotion Association, a standing director of China Calligraphy Research Association, a director of China Standard Cursive society, a member of sunset poetry society, and a creator of Oriental Literature and art creation center. Poetry works are included in "Selected Poems of sunset" (1-6 episodes) or other newspapers and special collections. More than 500 poems were created. He has won the first prize of Beijing pen association in the national literature and art competition, the first prize of Luzhou old people's calligraphy and painting competition, and the excellent award of Chinese art celebrities' works exhibition. Calligraphy works have won gold, silver, copper, special, excellent and excellent awards in national and Provincial Exhibition competitions for more than 100 times. Many of them have been selected for overseas exhibition. Some of them have participated in Singapore fine art exhibition, and have been engraved in five stele forests including Poyang Lake stele forest and Shenmo stele forest. Some of them have been collected by Yueyang Museum and Heilongjiang Daxing'anling Group Art Museum.
