Wu Sheng, male, from Songxi County, Fujian Province, was born in January 1972, doctor. At present, he is professor and doctoral supervisor of Fuzhou University, and deputy director of Fujian Spatial Information Engineering Research Center. Vice chairman of theory and method working committee of China Geographic Information Industry Association, member of cartography and GIS Professional Committee of China Society of Surveying and mapping, member of China Transportation Geographic Information System Technical Committee, and member of Digital Fujian Expert Committee.

He studied cartography and Geographic Information Engineering in the school of Surveying and mapping, Information Engineering University of Chinese PLA from 1988 to 2001. He received a doctor's degree in engineering from June 2001. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Geographical Sciences and resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences from April 2003 to April 2008. He was promoted to associate professor in December 2001. In 2004, he was employed by the Information Engineering University of PLA and Fuzhou University as a master's supervisor. In November 2008, he was promoted to a professor. In 2009, he was employed by Fuzhou University as a doctoral supervisor.
