Yan Suicheng

Yan Suicheng (1694 -) was born in the early Qianlong reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty (around 1736). He was named SONGZHAN (yizuo SONGZHAN) and was born in Wucheng (now Huzhou, Zhejiang Province).

Yongzheng two years (1724) Jinshi, official county magistrate of Shanxi Linxian. In the first year of Qianlong (1736), it was worthy of Ding you's return. Later, it became the magistrate of Fucheng County in Zhili. He moved to Songming Prefecture of Yunnan Province and founded Fengshan Academy. Later, Li Xiongzhou was the governor of the state, so he gave up. When you do your duty as an official, you have a voice. When the county magistrate came back to Yunnan, he became an official.

Literary achievements

Yan Sui became a worker's poem. He once consulted li e with the manuscript of the poem, but he was not praised. Later, he became more angry and finally succeeded.

As a result, he became a gifted Junfa. He was a good poet with magnificent beauty. He was good at chanting things, especially in reading epics. Self conceit is the first to chant ancient times. It is said that Zhu YIZUN and Zha Shenxing can become their own family. His works include 11 volumes of Haishan Shichao, 2 volumes of supplements, 4 volumes of miscellaneous chants of Ming history and 2 volumes of preface and biography of the book of songs.

His four volumes of miscellaneous chants of Ming history were regarded as "the history of poetry" at that time. Together with li e, Qian Zai, Wang youzeng, Yuan Mu and Wu Xilin, they are called "six schools in Western Zhejiang".
