Lu Siye, a native of Zhuoxian County in Fanyang (now Hebei Province), is Lu lunsun and Lu Jianqiu's son. Qianfu five years (878), ascended Jinshi. At the beginning of Guangming Dynasty, Lei moved to youbuque, and later set up the magistrate of Dutong and the doctor of the ritual department.

His works include "to sun Zhuangyuan suing Chen for money penalty".
