Dingwu
He is a famous modern cartoonist whose ancestral home is Zunyi, Guizhou. Born in Beijing in 1931. After graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1952, he worked as an art editor of China Youth Daily. In 1979, he was transferred to the people's fine arts publishing house as editor and director of children's art room, and chief editor of children's comics and comic king.
Ding Wu died of gastric cancer and pulmonary infection in Beijing longfu hospital on August 8, 2011. He was 80 years old.
