Yan TingZhong
Yan TingZhong (1795-1864) was named GuQing, Qiucha. He was born in Yanquan mountain. He was also a resident of Qiucha and a Taoist of Hongdou. He was born in Jingguang street, Kuangyuan Town, Yiliang. Yan TingZhong was a young man who was an official with his father. He was good at chanting. At the age of 13, his poems were sung in Beijing. At the age of 20, his first collection of poems, Nianhua Yixiao Lu, was published. Jiaqing 23 years (1818), his father died in Hubei, the family down, livelihood bleak, empty purse, had to give up through the imperial examination into the official career. In the first year of Daoguang (1821), he was appointed as the county magistrate of Laiyang County in Shandong Province. Later, he moved to Zhucheng, Fushan and Penglai counties, and then transferred to the salt transportation department of Huaihe River and Huaihe River. Yan Ting was a man of character and uninhibited. His long-term official life made him feel depressed. He was not willing to be a "depressed subordinate" and "spend his good time in the dust of books". In the 15th year of Daoguang, he resigned because of illness. Due to lack of capital, the whole family stayed in Yangzhou and Nanjing for one year.
During his stay in Yangzhou, Yan TingZhong was popular in the literary world with his "four laws of spring grass poetry", and there were thousands of people in the north and south of the river. In the 17th year of Daoguang reign, he settled down in his hometown and taught pheasant mountain academy. In the 26th year of Daoguang, he once again served as the county magistrate of Jiangshan, Wendeng and Laiyang. During his term of office, he was incorruptible, concerned about the people, and had an outstanding political voice. He wrote in Ji'nan Shushi: "his name follows the name of Gongqing, and he is deeply ashamed of incorruptness." The word "clean and honest" is not self praise, but Laiyang people's evaluation of him. People in Wendeng County called him "fair". When he was in Laiyang, the county was in great famine. Yan TingZhong gave relief to the victims with 1500 liang of silver he had accumulated for many years. For this reason, he had to pawn his fur coat to protect himself from the cold, and wrote a poem: "when the price of wine increases, I can only afford to pay for it." Talk with self mockery. Tongzhi three years (1864) died in Laiyang, Yunnan Road thousands of miles, the coffin can not return, buried in Laiyang Huangjiazhuang.
Yan TingZhong is a talented and elegant poet. He is good at composing music. His plays include the romance of Wu Zetian (a name of Duan Yan), the love story of Shen Meiniang in autumn window (a name of Pu Qiu), and the unparalleled beauty of Luoyang Palace (a name of Luoyang Palace), which are collectively called autumn sound score. During the period of the Republic of China, Zheng Zhenduo included qiushengpu in the first collection of Zaju of the Qing Dynasty. Wu Xiaoling, an expert in modern drama history, also commented: "there was only one Yan TingZhong in Yunnan in Qing Dynasty" (published in the 15th issue of popular literature column of Xingdao daily in 1941). Yan TingZhong's life ambition is hard to pay, empathy poetry, once with his friend Shan Boping on the song: "Oh, inkstone water to pass sorrow, brush paper wave and write resentment.".
