Li Gu (Vietnamese: l ê t ắ C), with the word Jinggao and the name Dongshan, was born in the 1360s and died in the 1440s. He was born in aizhou, Chenchao, Vietnam (located in today's Qinghua province), and later attached to the Yuan Dynasty. He was the author of Annam Annam Annam.
Life
early years
Li Gu is a descendant of Ruan Fu, the governor of Jiaozhou in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. When he was young, he was adopted to Li Gu, his grandfather's uncle, and changed to Li. When he was older, he served as an aide to Chen Jian, an envoy of Chen Chaojing's navy.
Attached to Yuan Dynasty
In 1285 ad, the Chinese yuan army invaded Vietnam and entered the garrison site of Chen Jian. When Chen Jian was defeated, Li Gu entered the Yuan Dynasty with him. (on his way to the north, Chen Jian was shot dead by an arrow of the Chen Dynasty army of Vietnam.) After arriving at Dadu, Li Gu was awarded the title of servant by Yuan Shi. Later, Li Gu settled in Hanyang, Hubei Province, made friends with literati, toured mountains and rivers, and studied ancient books. He died in the 1440s.

Annam Annam: Li Gu was born and raised in Vietnam. In his youth, he "traveled half of the junior high school when he was ten years old, and had a little knowledge of mountain and river geography". In addition, he loved books in his later years, so he had a certain foundation for his understanding of Vietnamese history. Therefore, he wrote Annam by "collecting the national history of the past dynasties, Jiaozhi tujing and mixed allusions of the present and the present.". The book is one of the earliest books in Vietnam's historical documents. Others: some of Li Gu's poems were recorded in Yueyin poetry anthology and Jianwen Xiaolu.
