Huang Lin was born in 1943 in a family of calligraphy and painting in Beijing. His father, Huang Lin, is a famous painter and professor of the Central Academy of fine arts. Life

Huang Lin was fond of painting when he was a child. At that time, Mr. Huang Jun's regular guests included Mr. Liu lingcang, Mr. Tian Shiguang and Mr. Wu Huansun. It was Huang Lin's great pleasure to go out with them and watch them paint or listen to the gramophone playing records. Huang Lin's watercolor painting in middle school was quite good. After school, he often went to the Architecture Department Museum to collect teachers' and students' art works or to paint from life on campus. At that time, some of his watercolor paintings were also invited to participate in the exhibition. I didn't expect that Huang Lin's talent in fine arts and his ability in painting and modeling would be a great help in the shape design of cars and tractors in the future. After returning to Beijing in 1985, he studied traditional Chinese painting with his father at the suggestion of Mr. Jin Hongjun. He is now an honorary member of Beijing experts Association, a member of cross strait painting and Calligraphy Association, and a council member of Beijing Hu society Painting Association.
