Huang Hongzhong, named Zhongxuan, is a native of Jimo City. In 1718 (the 57th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty), he became a scholar. He has successively served as the editor of the Imperial Academy, the Secretary of the Imperial Academy, the assistant lecturer of the Imperial Academy, the assistant scholar of the Imperial Academy, the governor of Hunan Academy of learning and politics, and the left Deputy censor of the Imperial Academy. In 1723 (the year of Yongzheng yuan of Qing Dynasty), he was the chief examiner of Shanxi Province, and in 1724, he was the same examiner of the examination.
Life of the characters
Huang Hongzhong was honest and diligent in his administration and rigorous in his studies. When he was the editor of Hanlin academy, he closed the door and wrote many good articles. When Yongzheng became emperor, he made use of Huang Hongzhong to "promote the son of the state to be a minister, and then to teach and study as a minister. He became a Bachelor of Jin Dynasty, an official of mouth, and an official of daily life.". In 1723, Xiang Kedian was tested in three Jin Dynasties. In September, he was the same examiners in the joint examination. All the examiners were well-known, but eight of them were selected from Shanyou. In 1725, they took up the post of Xuezheng in Hunan Province. When they arrived in Wuchang, Hunan officials saw that his luggage was poor and came in a hurry, so they advised him: "you need some staff and expenses to supervise Xuezheng in Hunan Province. As a new school inspector, there should be clerical staff. If you don't need government rationing and recruit people, they can give you thousands of gold. " Huang Hongzhong said: "I always come to accept the favor of the emperor. If I do this, I will be sorry to the country!" after hearing this, the officials in Hunan sighed and gave him book service from the government. Hunan is a vast area with thousands of miles of waterways. At that time, neither the imperial examination nor the imperial examination was carried out, and it was only one year before the autumn examination. Huang Hongzhong did not avoid the cold and heat. He traveled all over Hunan to prepare for the imperial examination. He warned candidates to be strict with themselves, study hard and accumulate more knowledge. Due to overwork, Huang Hongzhong gradually lost his strength. In February of the next year, when I was sitting in Yuezhou examination hall, "phlegm disease broke out, and the number of people in danger was four. If I could walk a little, I would try my best.". He insisted on getting up at more than 5 o'clock in the morning when he was ill, and didn't rest until the evening. In this way, he managed several examinations in the government and successfully completed his mission. Huang Hongzhong asked to return to his hometown in December to recuperate. He died in 1727.
