Huang Zhong, Han nationality, is a well-known calligrapher and master of Lishu in modern times. He is from Pucheng, Shaanxi Province. On the road of calligraphy, he established the theory of "exploring the root of poverty", that is, those who learn calligraphy must be proficient in ancient Chinese, Dingyi, zhuanli and Weibei, and be familiar with the evolution process of Chinese calligraphy, so that calligraphy can always grasp the pulse of the times, so as to move the heart and promote people's progress. At present, he is the chairman of the association of Chinese contemporary calligraphers and painters and the art consultant of Shaanxi Academy of calligraphers and painters.

Huang Zhong, a famous calligrapher and master of Lishu, is a native of Pucheng, Shaanxi Province. Chairman of China contemporary painting and Calligraphy Association, art consultant of Shaanxi painting and Calligraphy Academy. He graduated from the Department of Chinese language and literature of Shaanxi Normal University in 1960, and remained as a teaching assistant of grade 65 in the Department of Chinese in the same year. He has been working in Education Administration for many years, and successively served as the Party branch, deputy secretary and Secretary of the Party committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University Affiliated Middle School and Xi'an Normal University. In his later years, he participated in the compilation of "Xi'an City annals" for ten years, and after retiring, he edited the Oriental Art newspaper. The road of calligraphy is bumpy. At the beginning, he studied "Yanliu" and then "Erwang". In his middle age, he turned to Hanli, covering hundreds of schools and 300 classes a day. He has successively edited and published the collection of fine works of famous painters and calligraphers in Shaanxi and the collection of works of contemporary old painters and calligraphers in Chang'an. His works won the highest honor award in international book exhibitions such as "Silk Road", "Daniel Cup", "Zhongcheng Cup" and "Telecom Cup".
