Life of the characters
Early experience
On November 1, 1277 (November 27, 1277), although it was early winter, the weather in Shoucheng, Yiwu, Wuzhou was very sunny and warm. The clear water of Xiuhu lake is sparkling under the sunlight, and the breeze rippled across the lake. On such a beautiful day as warm as spring in winter, a baby boy was born in the courtyard beside the Xiuhu lake, and the whole family was very happy. He was one of the "four outstanding scholars" in Yuan Dynasty, a famous historian and a brilliant literary star.
Huang Zhu, the father of Huang Zhen, is a child of his mother. Huang Zhongfu, the ancestor, inherited the spirit of his uncle Zongze. He was upright and upright. He was a well-known scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty. According to the biography of Mr. Gui Yin in the supplement Volume 11 of the complete collection of documents, Qin Hui usurped power in the middle of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty. After the peace agreement was reached, he drove scholars to recite poems and write Fu every day to praise the so-called "Taiping Zhongxing" beauty. If someone said that "treacherous officials are in charge", they would arrest and kill them immediately. Many of the scholar bureaucrats were afraid and retracted their heads. However, Huang Zhongfu's noble demeanor, regardless of himself, angrily wrote a Yuefu poem about Taiping building. Poetry Day: "fast grinding three feet sword, to cut off the head of sycophant." This brave act of his was almost unexpected, but it was also widely praised by people. After Qin Hui's death, some years later, the imperial court will grant Huang Zhongfu an official, but he died without being ordered.
Huang Jiansheng is intelligent, gifted, and handsome. He is very popular. He has been disciplined since he was a child. He is eager to learn and assiduous. He never goes out to play when he has nothing to do. The book of songs and the book of history, written by Mr. Wang, are never forgotten and become recited. He learned to write and made rapid progress. He wrote a few hundred words at a stroke. Over time, Huang's articles became famous in the local area, and continued to spread.
One day, a 13-year-old Huang Zhen's article "Diao Zhuge Wu Hou Ci" was read by the learned Mr. Shannan. After careful reading, he said with great admiration: "Yiwu, who is famous for its diction today, only has two brothers, Yu Liangneng and Yu Liangbi (yuzhairen of Guantang township). With a little cultivation, the child can be compared with the two metaphors This Mr. Shannan, formerly known as Liu Yinggui, was born in Qingyan, Yiwu. He once served as the head of Yuequan academy and Xuezheng in Hangzhou. He lived in seclusion in Shimen mountain at the end of Song Dynasty. As a result, Mr. Shannan accepted Huang as a student, preaching and teaching, which made him grow up a lot.
When he was 20 years old, Huang Zhen was studying in Hangzhou, where he was taught by Ju Gong, an old man of the Southern Song Dynasty, and some learned people. At this time, Huang Zhen, in his prime of life, seemed to roam in the ocean of knowledge, broadening his horizons, increasing his knowledge, and "benefiting from modern literature".
After returning to Yiwu from Hangzhou, Huang Zhen's poetry flourished, so he made friends with Fang Feng, a poet who lived in seclusion in Xianhua mountain of Pujiang River, reciting poems, writing Fu and singing with each other. In their common hobbies and interests, they learn from each other, inspire each other, not only enhance their knowledge, but also enhance their friendship. Of course, they write a lot of beautiful poems.
More than 50 years later, Huang wrote many poems in memory of Mr. Fang. One of the songs says:
Xianhua thousands of Ren, junjue linziqing.
The temple of heaven is full of Yao grass, and the cave is full of Yin wind.
When you walk with your staff, you will be in love with the hills.
Fortunately, there is a Kui foot, the song continued to sound.
At that time, Huang Zhen, who was "famous for his writing in all directions", was indifferent to fame and wealth and had no intention of becoming an official. However, many friends who knew him well tried their best to recommend him to serve his country. In 1301, Huang Zhen, 25 years old, was promoted as an instructor. Two years later, he was promoted as a constitutional official. But before long, Huang Chen still retired from home and indulged in writing poems and compositions.
Stepping into officialdom
In the first year of yuanyanyou (1314), the imperial court restored the method of tribute and examination in order to select and recruit talents. The county officials urged him to take the exam. At that time, Huang Zhen took Chu Sheng as his example in the provincial examination of Taiji Fu. His ci works got rid of Chen Yan and became an excellent work in the examination field. The following year (1315), Huang Jianting, who was full of talents and talents, won the test. However, on the ground of Huang Zhen's "Ci Jin Ji", the official who read the paper only ranked the third at the end of the list. He was given the same Jinshi background and the title of general Shi Lang. On April 22 (May 25) of the same year, he was granted the official title of Cheng of Ninghai County, Taizhou.
Ninghai County, located in the east coast of Zhejiang Province, is close to the salt farm, and the salt industry is prosperous. However, some salt farmers have no fear that they do not belong to the county yamen, so they are not subject to control and act recklessly to harm the people. However, some local officials were bribed by these salt farmers, and they did not uphold justice. They let it go, which made this evil force more unscrupulous, especially violent.
After taking office, Huang Zhen inspected the social situation and public opinion. Seeing this situation, he was deeply ill and did not hesitate to bring all the perpetrators to justice. At this time, some of Huang's subordinate officials were worried and deeply afraid of retaliation. Therefore, they told Huang carefully: "there are people behind these people. They can't be provoked!" This persuasion, of course, was out of kindness. He thought that it was important for Huang Zhen to protect himself when he first arrived. But Huang Zhen didn't flinch. He answered firmly: "officials can be improper, and people's affairs can't be ignored." He still abides by the law and severely punishes local bullies. After several efforts, the evil flame gradually disappeared, and the people finally got peace.
In the severe struggle to punish these pests, there are many moving stories. There is a stepmother who is adulterous with a monk and uses poison to kill her husband. Instead, she is falsely accused of being killed by her husband's former son, who will be convicted. After hearing QIANZI's cry, Huang took off his official uniform, dressed up as a civilian, went deep into the secret investigation, found out the truth, and finally brought the case to light. The people of the whole county applauded the injustice, the good people were saved, and the murderer was punished. They all admired Huang.
At that time, there were still some villains in Ninghai County who participated in the theft group and attempted to rob. The county government was reported and offered a reward for arrest. However, in order to seek reward, the local big names and powerful people reported without evidence and arrested a number of "suspects" accordingly. However, due to the lack of solid evidence, it is far from easy to settle the case, resulting in a long delay. For this reason, Huang made many investigations, tried carefully one by one, and settled the case fairly. He neither wronged the good nor indulged the bad. Among them, more than 10 people were exempted from death penalty.
The imperial court sent senior officials to investigate all over the country and learned that Huang Zhen was capable, honest and had made remarkable achievements in his political work. He was promoted to supervise the transportation of salt in Shiyan, the salt transport envoy in the capital of Zhejiang Province, and was entrusted to rectify the administration of officials. Huang worked hard and dealt with justice, and punished the illegal households in the saltworks. As a result, Ji Gang was greatly promoted, and the people were convinced that the salt field was one of the most important places in the Qing Dynasty.
In the sixth year of Yanyou's reign (1319), Huang Zhen was appointed magistrate of Zhuji Prefecture of Shaoxing Road. Later, he was appointed governor of Hangzhou. At that time, Zhuji was known as "difficult to cure" because of its long-standing disadvantages and many thorny problems. After Huang Zhen took office, he was not afraid of difficulties and careless. He judged the situation, prescribed the right medicine to the case and focused on breaking through. Finally, he changed the difficult treatment into easy treatment.
According to the custom, the government's sea patrol ships have to be renewed in three years. The cost is paid by the government, but the insufficient amount must be made up by the people. As a result, some corrupt officials took the opportunity to reach out to the common people to collect money and enrich their own pockets by collecting more and paying less. Huang changed his example to extort money from the common people. He saved money, put an end to corruption, and returned the surplus money to the common people, thus reducing the burden on the people. After receiving the money, the people cheered and called Huang an honest official.
At that time, there were also some outlaws who colluded with each other to disturb society with counterfeit banknotes and threaten people's wealth. And some local officials let it cheat, no matter what. As a result, counterfeit banknotes are rampant, affecting the neighboring counties of Xinchang, Tiantai, Ninghai and Dongyang, involving hundreds of families, and the common people. The governor ordered Huang to investigate and deal with the matter.
Through questioning, Huang Zhen understood the truth and grasped sufficient evidence, which made the relevant personnel bow their heads and plead guilty. Dereliction of duty officials were removed, the lawless were punished, those innocent people were also freed, and the common people were no longer harmed by counterfeit money. But in the meantime, a "robber" secretly hid the counterfeit banknotes in the Liangmin's house, and then "exposed" them to the government. He gathered nearly a hundred villains with sticks and rushed to the Liangmin's house to search. He tried to rip off the counterfeit banknotes in order to make a windfall. At this time, Huang Zhen went back to the city after going to the countryside
