Huang Zhongzhong (1562-1644), who was a member of the family in the 13th year of Wanli (1585), first taught Shanghai county education, and later moved to Nanjing to build "qianqingzhai" in his later years to collect more than 60000 volumes of books.
The father of Huang Yuji (see the list of Quanzhou people · Huang Yuji) is the 13th grandson of Huangfu in Huangshi, Putian.
His works include the collection of qianqingzhai, the catalogue of qianqingzhai's collection of books, the rites and music of Confucian temple, etc.

Huang Zhongzhong (1562-1644) was a famous book collector in Ming Dynasty. The word "Ming Li" is also called "Kun Wu" and "Hai He" by scholars. Fujian Jinjiang Anhai (now Quanzhou) people, later moved to Jinling (now Nanjing, Jiangsu). Wanli 13 years (1585) Ju Ren, official Shanghai Jiaoyu, moved to Nanjing Guozijian Cheng, so the whole family moved to Jiangling (now Nanjing). After he became governor of Huangping, he resigned because he was disgusted with the dirty atmosphere of officialdom. He was determined to collect books and copied books by himself. In his later years, he was even richer in collecting books. He founded a library named "qianqingzhai" and collected more than 60000 volumes of books. The works of Ming Dynasty people were the most complete. Up to the works of emperors and ministers in the 16 dynasties of the Ming Dynasty, and down to the notes of common people's literati, there was no search for them. More than 12000 works of Ming Dynasty were collected. Huang Yuji, his son, inherited the posthumous documents and became more and more old. The collection of "qianqingzhai" reached more than 80000 volumes. He was a famous book collector in the late Ming Dynasty. There are six volumes of the catalogue of qianqingzhai collection. Now it is lost. Qian Qianyi wrote the book collection of Huang's qianqingzhai, saying that he "ate, sat, slept, lived and served, and never abandoned the book without a breath.". In his later years, Qian Qianyi went to "qianqingzhai" to observe the books in order to compile the collection of poems of liechao. And willing to borrow from students. Ding Xiongfei visited qianqingzhai for many times to read books, and made a "GUHUAN society agreement" with Huang Yuji to copy books from each other. The Qing army entered Beijing and died in grief. The book collection is printed with "book collection seal of Jinjiang Huang's father and son".
