Huang Jiading, whose date of birth and death is unknown, was born in Yingshang County, Anhui Province. In the 11th year of Shunzhi (1654) of the Qing Dynasty, he paid tribute and granted Xianning county magistrate.
During the period of county magistrate, he was honest and upright, diligent in politics, promoting advantages and eliminating disadvantages, building dikes to control water, persuading agriculture and weaving, strictly enforcing the legal system, and the county was peaceful. His term of office was three years, and his political achievements were outstanding. He was recommended to the court as "outstanding" and was given five grade official uniform. More than one thousand people in Xianning went to Beijing to petition for the retention of Huang Jiading. The imperial court made a special order to praise the beauty, give it to the emperor and stay in Xianning to make up for it. Huang Jiading died in office. He had an old felt under him. There were only a few earthenware in the room. There was no funeral expenses. The people were all crying. At the time of burial, countless people went abroad to deliver coffins. He was worshipped in Yingshang Xiangxian temple.
