Liu Huangshang (1529 ~ 1595), whose name is xuanzi, was born in Guangzhou (now Huangchuan County, Henan Province), runing Prefecture, south of the Ming River. He was the son of Liu Hua, the magistrate of Chongqing. He was a Jinshi in the 14th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1586). He participated in the Korean War in Wanli, and was an official of the Ministry of war.
He is the author of cangchengguan collection.
Life of the characters
At the age of seven, he was able to write Gu and copy the right army (Wang Xizhi). At the age of ten, he lived in Chang'an and wrote many articles on Kyoto. His father Liu's friends, Chen Shu and Tang Shunzhi, all thought he was a strange boy. When Liu Hui was the magistrate of Chongqing, he was very talented of Zhang Jiayin. He called his family and ordered Liu Huangshang to teach him Yue. He said, "Xiao Fu (Zhang Jiayin) will build teeth and teach Yue in the future. He will be famous as the emperor. How can my son hold the hub?"
In the first year of Longqing (1567), he took part in the examination ten times, and finally won the entrance examination in the 14th year of Wanli (1586). He was appointed the head of the Ministry of punishment and changed to a member of the Ministry of war.
When the Korean War broke out in Wanli, he was ordered to praise song Yingchang's military affairs, assist Korea to resist Japan, cross the Yalu River, arrive in Pyongyang, and defeat the Japanese army. Record merit and move to doctor. Soldiers, please go home and die.
