Huang Gongdu
Huang Gongdu (1109-1156) < / I > is a native of Putian (now Fujian), whose name is Shixian and whose name is known as jiaweng. Huang Gongdu, the eighth grandson of Huang Tao, the censor and poet of the late Tang Dynasty, was born in Dongli Lane (now Yinglong street, Chengxiang District), Putian City, Fujian Province. He studied in Aoshan in his early years. Soon after, he was used by the imperial court as the general judge of Zhaoqing Prefecture in Guangdong Province, and also as the seal of Enping county. During his term of office, he increased his education and made outstanding achievements in politics. Enping had set up a county in Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty, and it was only then that someone ascended the rank. After Qin Hui's death, Huang Gongdu was recalled by the imperial court. Gaozong asked Lingnan what was wrong with his government. Gongdu said: "Guangdong's small counties have not been removed for ten years.
