Wei Qingzhi was born in Jian'an (now Fujian Province) in Southern Song Dynasty. His birth and death are unknown. He was born around the end of Jiaxi in Song Dynasty. He had extensive contacts with literati and poets all his life, and had no intention of official career. He wrote twenty one volumes of the poet's jade scraps.

Main works

In the form of compilation, the poet Yuxie collected the short essays and talks about poems of various schools in the Song Dynasty, especially in the Southern Song Dynasty.
