Gao Guanguo is a poet of Southern Song Dynasty. It's a bamboo house. Shanyin (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang) people. The year of birth and death is unknown. He lived in the middle of the Southern Song Dynasty, about the same age as Jiang Kui. He is the author of a volume of bamboo house.

Although his achievement is not as good as that of shidazu, there are some points worthy of attention. He is good at creating famous aphorisms, such as "fragrant heart is quiet, wave heart is cold, Qin heart is resentful, guest heart is startled"; "all over the West Lake, spring is rotten, flowers are counted, river and mountain dreams are making", which are quite popular among later generations. From his works, there is no trace of an official. He is a member of the poetry society who is engaged in ci writing. He is one of the "ten outstanding men of the Southern Song Dynasty". Features of works

Gao Guanguo's Ci poems are characterized by refined sentences and strict rules. It inherits Zhou Bangyan's tradition and is also influenced by Jiang Kui's style of "elegant system", so it is also known as Jiang Kui's wings (preface to Wang Sen's Ci Zong). He had a close friendship with shidazu and sang in harmony. Zhuwu and Meixi were called together for a time. Chen Zao said in the preface of Gao Guanguo's Ci anthology Zhuwu Chi Yu: "both he and Shi Bangqing were Ci Poems of Zhou and Qin Dynasties, and their works were not written in humane language. The wonderful places are Shaoyou (Qin Guan) and Meicheng (Zhou Bangyan), which are not as good as those of Tang Dynasty. Zhang Yan also said in Etymology: "Qin Shaoyou, Gao Zhuwu, Jiang Baishi, Shi Bangqing and Wu Mengchuang have different rhythms and syntax.
