Rao xueshu

Ji Nan (1720-1770), named Junpu, was born in Ganzhu, Guangchang county, Jiangxi Province.

Profile

The writer of Qing Dynasty. Qianlong 12 years (1747) Zhongju. Sixteen years (1751) a two Jinshi, commonly known as the list eye, awarded the Academy editor. After the calendar left and right zhongyun, Shi Shuo, Wu YINGDIAN general examination hall, meritorious officials hall, ritual hall compilation, daily Lecture Note officer and other posts, in charge of the imperial court memorials, imperial edicts, letters. In the 16 years of Hanlin academy, most of the national classics were written by him. From the 18th to the 34th year of Qianlong (1753-1769), he successively served as the chief examiner of "rural examination" in Hebei, Yunnan and other provinces and the official of grinding examination paper (the official who rechecked the examination paper of subordinate government officials). He was very capable of promoting talents and was praised as "the teacher of the time" by scholars at that time.

He has a broad knowledge of classics and history, a quick mind, and a good command of literature. His writing is very serious, and historians call it "concentrated thinking, facial features and use", and his poems "profound ancient meaning, and elegant praise". He is the author of Yan Lu Zhai Ji, in which there are three volumes of articles and eight volumes of poems. In addition, there is a collection of envoys to Yunnan. Rao xueshu is a kind-hearted man. In the capital, he rebuilt the guild hall in Jiangxi, which was a place for his hometown to talk about, and bought a cemetery for the villagers wandering in Kyoto to avoid their dead bodies being exposed.
