The year of Gu Meng's birth and death is unknown. He lived from Huizong to the middle of the Yuan Dynasty. Gao Cai is eager to learn, and his taste is in qijuxuan. (see Lu Youren's article) MEng Gong's poems, including zhongzhuji's Selected Poems of Yuan Dynasty, were handed down to the world.
