Gu minheng (1746-1790) was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.

Profile

The son of Gu KuiGuang, a scholar and Jinshi of Qianlong. The year of birth and death is unknown. He was 45 years old from the eighth year of Emperor Qianlong to the twelfth year of emperor Renzong Jiaqing. Gu minheng was born in the Gu family of Wuxi. His family was said to be Gu Yong, the Prime Minister of Wu in the Three Kingdoms. After that, he moved from Suzhou to Jiaoshan in Wuxi in the early Ming Dynasty. In the middle Ming Dynasty, there were Gu Kexue, Gu Keshi and Gu Kejiu brothers. From then on to the end of the Qing Dynasty, many members of the family were registered. Gu KuiGuang, the father of Gu minheng, was the magistrate of Sangzhi County in Hunan Province. Gu minheng is famous for his poems. He is as famous as Yang fangcan in Tongli. He is "Yan and Xie" when compared with him Qianlong 52 years (1787) Jinshi. Knowing that there was no official, he was appointed as a professor of Suzhou government. He died in less than three years. Those who ask for words are full of outdoors. Minheng is a talented person, good at reading and chanting, with graceful words and elegant prose. Yuan Meitan was a master of the Six Dynasties. His works include Lifang's poetry manuscript and Guwen BianTi, all of which are biographies of Qing history. My brother teaches happiness, respects Xun and dunxian, all of which are poems. The poems of four brothers by Yang Kui are the remains of Bijiang garden.
