Chen Hongbao was an official of the Qing Dynasty. He was born in Chenhai, Xinghua, Jiangsu, China. Chen Hongbao, who was born as a supervisor, succeeded Cao Rulin (Qing Dynasty) in 1815 (the 20th year of Jiaqing). He served as the county head of Taiwan's Tanshui department in Taipei, Taiwan. He was a local official in greater Taipei.
