Liu Fuyao
Liu Fuyao was born on February 21 (1864) in the third year of Tongzhi. The year of his death remains to be determined. The number one scholar in Qing Dynasty. The original name of Fuyao is Botang, Bosong, Renan and Shouqin. He is from Guilin, Guangxi.
Qing Guangxu eight years (1882) Juren, 15 years (1889) as cabinet secretary, 18 years (1892) palace examination a first, Guangxi became the last champion. He is the assistant examiner of Guizhou provincial examination, the Deputy examiner of Guangdong Provincial examination, the Deputy examiner of Zhejiang provincial examination, the deputy chief examiner of Henan provincial examination, the Secretary of Hanlin academy, and the general school of the library Bureau of the Ministry of education. In April 1910, he went to Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui and Jiangsu to investigate the preparation of constitutional affairs. His strong nature, integrity, not a power, so the official career is not smooth. Influenced by Weng Tonghe, he had a tendency to reform. After Weng was dismissed, he received cold reception and discrimination in politics. When gengzi was in trouble, he stayed in the capital, devoted himself to the study of CI with Zhu zumou, a CI poet from Zhejiang Province, and Wang Pengyun, a fellow countryman. He cooperated with gengzi's autumn Ci and became one of the important members of Lingui CI school in the late Qing Dynasty. In his later years, he settled in Shanghai and made a living by selling literature. He was poor and depressed. He is the author of ren'an CI.
