Liu Bing
Liu Bing (143-145, February 15), the son of Liu Bao, Emperor Shun of the Han Dynasty, and his mother Yu Guiren, was the ninth emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
In April of the first year of Jiankang (144), Liu Bing was made the crown prince. In August, Emperor hanshun died. Liu Bing succeeded him to the throne. He respected his Empress as empress dowager, and Liang was the Regent.
After emperor hanchong ascended the throne, Liang Ji, Liang's elder brother and general, was domineering. The court was corrupt and the people were in dire straits.
In the first year of Yongzhen, Emperor Chong of Han Dynasty collapsed in the front hall of Yutang. He was only three years old. The posthumous title is emperor Xiaochong, who was buried in huailing (the mausoleum of emperor hanchong).
Life of the characters
To be the crown prince
Liu Bing, whose name is Ming, is the son of Liu Bao, Emperor Shun of Han Dynasty, and his mother is Yu Gui Ren. On April 15, the first year of Jiankang (144), Liu Bing was made the crown prince by Emperor Shun of Han Dynasty.
Succeeding to the throne
On August 6, the first year of Jiankang (144), Emperor hanshun died. At that time, the empress of emperor hanshun, Liang Xun, had no son, so she made crown prince Liu Bing emperor and respected Liang Xun as empress dowager.
Because emperor hanchong was young, Empress Dowager Liang Xun was in charge of Regency.
On August 13, the first year of Jiankang (144), Zhao Jun was appointed as Taifu, Li Gu as Taiwei, and Li Gu as Taiwei.
On September 12, the first year of Jiankang (144), Emperor Shun of the Han Dynasty was buried in Xianling. His posthumous title was Emperor Xiaoshun and his temple title was Emperor Jingzong.
He died of illness
After emperor Chong of the Han Dynasty succeeded to the throne, Liang's relatives controlled the government. Liang Ji, Liang's elder brother and general, was domineering. The court was corrupt and the people were in dire straits.
At that time, there were riots in Jiujiang county.
Emperor hanchong fell ill soon after he succeeded to the throne. Liang Ji recruited emperor Hanzhang, Liu Xuan sun, and Liu Zan, the son of Liu Hong, the filial king of Bohai, to the capital Pavilion of Luoyang, preparing to make him emperor when Emperor hanchong died.
On the sixth day of the first month of the first year of Yongzhen (February 15, 145), Emperor Chong of Han Dynasty died of illness in the front hall of Yutang. He was only three years old.
Empress Dowager Liang and Liang Ji established Liu Zan as emperor, which was the emperor of the Han Dynasty, so they once again came to Regency as empress dowagers. On the 21st of the first month, Emperor hanchong was buried in huailing with the posthumous title of emperor Xiaochong.
