Jiang she (1503-1565), with the word Mingying, was born in Huangnan, she county (now nanxinan, tunguang Town, Tunxi District, Huangshan City). As a result of hematemesis, he studied medicine autonomously and did his whole life to collect medical records of doctors in the past dynasties.
Jiang Yu (1503-1565) was a doctor in Ming Dynasty. Min Ying is a native of Huangnan (now nanxinan, tunguang Town, Tunxi District, Huangshan City). As a scholar, his family was poor because of his mother's death. He became angry and began to study. However, he didn't sell it to the imperial examination center. Instead, he began to live in business and try to make up for the students in the county. Because of his many diseases and treatment is not effective, so self-study medical skills, self-treatment, for a long time and even become a famous doctor. Because of the ancient maxim of "knowing more about diseases, diagnosing more about pulse", he abstracted the medical records from ancient times to modern times and classified them, aiming at "Publicizing the past and learning from the past". After more than 20 years, he failed to complete the book and died. His son should stay and carry on his career. He completed his long cherished wish and compiled a book named "cases of famous doctors", which is divided into two hundred other five categories. It records medical cases from Han Dynasty to Ming Dynasty, with comments attached between them, and is highly praised by later generations. There are many versions available. In 1552, the first draft of famous medical cases was completed, but it was not published. His son Ying Su traveled over half of China and learned from famous doctors for 19 years. He changed his manuscript five times and published 12 volumes of famous medical records in the world. It is a collection of bianque, Canggong, Huatuo and other famous medical records from Yuan and Ming Dynasties. It is divided into 205 branches, including internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, pediatrics and facial features. It is faithful to the original data and attached with comments. It is the first famous medical work to summarize the medical records of the past dynasties in China.
