Qu yingshao (1778-1849) was a calligrapher, painter and ceramic artist in Qing Dynasty. The name of the room is "yuxiutang", a native of Songjiang, Shanghai. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, he was a Gongsheng official and went to Yuhuan, Zhejiang Province.
Profile
He is good at seal cutting and painting, and his master Yun Nantian. He collected a lot of antiques in his life, and the furnishings in the house all respected Yi and ancient and modern famous people's ink. In his life, he made many pots, many of which were imitated by Chen Mansheng. He hired many potters to make all kinds of pot models from Yixing clay. He painted bamboo and inscribed poems on the pot, and his friend Deng Kui (Fu Sheng) carved them. In his later years, he created the moon pot, which was called "Qu pot". There are two kinds of quhu: coarse sand and fine sand. He once cooperated with Yang Pengnian, a famous Pot Maker, and the handle was marked with "Pengnian". After the opening of Shanghai port, the Japanese searched for quhu and brought it to Japan. Each pot could sell for dozens of silver dollars. During the reign of Xianfeng, Shanghai Knife Society revolted, and Qu yingshao's collection of calligraphy and painting antiques was lost in the war. Only his Yuehu poem and painting survived. The poem is as elegant as the physique of the Southern Song Dynasty, including Yuehu inscription and Yuehu grass. His son, Zhaoyu, can also paint with the word Yuru. Sun Lin, whose name is yuesun, is good at painting orchids and bamboos.
