Wang Zun is a gallant man with eloquence. In the first year of the reform (23 years), he and kaixiao fought at the same time and later returned to Liu Xuan, the emperor of the reform.
In the third year of the reform (25 years), the generals wanted to hijack Liu Xuandong and return home. At that time, kaixiao took part in the plan. When the matter came to light, Liu Xuan sent someone to summon kaixiao. Kaixiao said he was ill and did not go. He and Wang Zun led the army to defend themselves. Liu Xuan sent Deng ye to lead the army to encircle kaixiao. Kaixiao broke through the encirclement and occupied the original territory. He called himself the general of Xizhou and appointed Wang Zun as the general.
Although Wang Zun and kaixiao raised their troops together, they often wanted to belong to the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the sixth year of Jianwu (30 years), Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty Liu Xiu surrendered Wang Zun, appointed him as Taizhong doctor and granted him the title of Yihou. In the 32nd year of Jianwu, Emperor Guangwu led his generals to the west, and sent the king Zun Chijie to supervise the great Sima, Wu Han, to stay in Chang'an. Wang Zun knew that kaixiao would be defeated, so he wrote a letter to persuade his old friend kaixiao to surrender Niuhan to the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Life of the characters
Fight with the clamor
Wang Zun's father is the prefect of Shangjun. Wang Zun was a chivalrous man when he was young. In the first year of the reform (23 years), Wang Zun and kaixiao set up troops at the same time to become kaixiao's subordinates, and together with kaixiao, they returned to Liu Xuan, the emperor of the reform. In June of the 25th year of Emperor Guangwu's reign, Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu declared himself Emperor and established the political power of the Eastern Han Dynasty. When the generals wanted to hijack the reformer emperor and return to the East, kaixiao took part in the plan. When the incident came to light, the reformer sent for kaixiao. Kaixiao said that he was ill and would not go. He led the army with Wang Zun and Zhou Zong, the Ministry of foreign affairs, to defend himself. Deng ye, the commander of the reformer, led the army to encircle Xiaoxiao, who closed the door and refused to defend. At dusk, he broke through the encirclement, split the gate with dozens of cavalry at night and fled back to Tianshui. Wang Zun and others from the old army were recruited to occupy the original territory. They called themselves the general of Xizhou and appointed Wang Zun as the general.
Attached to the Eastern Han Dynasty
Although Wang Zun raised his army together with kaixiao, he often wanted to belong to the Eastern Han Dynasty. He also advised him to send his son to serve in the court many times. Before and after that, he sincerely admonished him. He didn't follow him. In the sixth year of Jianwu (30th year), Emperor Guangwu sent him to recruit Wang Zun. Wang Zun left him and went east with his family to Luoyang (now Luoyang, Henan Province) to submit to the Eastern Han Dynasty. He was appointed as a Taizhong doctor and was granted the title of Xiang Yihou. In the eighth year of Jianwu's reign (32nd year), she came to capture Lueyang. He was afraid of the coming of the Han Army, so he sent his generals to garrison the fortress and led a large army to attack him. Gongsun Shu, the founder of the family power, also sent generals Li Yu and Tian Yan to help her attack her, but they couldn't conquer her for a month. So Emperor Guangwu led all the generals to the west, and all the soldiers and horses went up to Longjin, and sent the king to supervise the great Sima Wu Han in Chang'an. Wang Zun knew that kaixiao would be defeated, and he was an old friend of Niuhan. Knowing that he had the idea to submit to the Eastern Han Dynasty, he wrote to persuade him to submit to the Eastern Han Dynasty. Niu Han got the letter and thought about it for more than ten days, so he went back to the Eastern Han Dynasty and was appointed Taizhong doctor.
