Wang Laozhi, a native of Linpu in Puzhou, is famous for his Taoism.

Wang Laozhi? Linpu (originally mistaken for spring, Linpu is in the southwest of juancheng, Shandong Province). At first, he was a small official, but later he met a stranger, so he abandoned his wife to build a thatched cottage in the field. One day, he met a strange man among a group of beggars and gave him a magic pill. After eating it, he suddenly became enlightened and crazy. From then on, he built a hut in the wilderness and lived alone. He divined and predicted good and bad fortune. As a result of the right several times, it became famous for a while, which attracted the attention of the high officials in the court and introduced it to the emperor. Wang Laozhi wrote a secret letter and sent it to Huizong. Huizong opened it to see what he said when he was having a party with his concubine the autumn before last. He was very surprised and gave Wang Laozhi the title of "Mr. Dongwei". The recognition of the emperor is a huge market, and Wang Laozhi has become a rich man admired by people.
