In 1997, "online monitoring of clinker kiln shell temperature with infrared thermal TV" won the third prize of ministry level scientific and technological progress.

"Network security management platform", introduction of Image Processing Laboratory of horizontal project, director of the laboratory: Wang Jingzhong, Professor, master supervisor, responsible professor of Department of electronic information engineering. The image processing laboratory is mainly engaged in scientific research and engineering application in the field of digital image processing, and undertakes part of the courses for undergraduates and postgraduates. In recent years, our laboratory has carried out research in infrared image processing technology and its application, image data compression and transmission, image recognition, information security and other fields. Our laboratory has completed more than 20 research projects including the national "Eighth Five Year" key projects. He has published more than 60 academic papers and 6 edited and translated works. Four courses including "image information processing" are offered.
