Wang Wujiu (1024-1069) was born in Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province. He was Zeng Gong's brother-in-law and Wang Anshi's student.
Life of the characters
In the second year of Jiayou's reign (1057), he was a Jinshi in the examination, a county magistrate in Jiangdu County, and a county magistrate in Tiantai county.
Later, he abandoned his official position and learned from Wang Anshi. In order to make up for Nankang county's master book, he should become an official again.
Wang Anshi was in power and called to the capital to teach.
In the second year of Xining (1069), the imperial edict thought that Guozijian spoke directly and died before his life was given. It was 46 years old.
Wang Wujiu, who is diligent in learning and good at writing, has his own style of writing, which is close to Zeng Gong's "ups and downs" and Wang Anshi's "eloquence". The artistic conception of his poems is far-reaching, and the Qing Dynasty is complacent.
Zeng Gong said that he read everything in the book, and that if he spoke in a subtle and profound way, he had to study the extreme. Therefore, his works ran through the ancient and modern times, repeatedly discriminated between the rich and the poor, and belonged to the classics, not only galloping the empty words (preface to Wang Buzhi's collection of works).
Mei Yaochen also said that his articles are profound and profound, which can be described as outstanding.
Literary achievements
He wrote fifteen volumes of Wang Wujiu's collection (seven records of art and literature in the history of Song Dynasty), which has been lost.
Three of his poems are recorded in volume 619 of complete song poetry.
There are nine articles in volume 1525 of Quan Song Wen.
