Wang Jianji (1864-1937.3), named Fuchen and Xiaodong, was born in Zhaoyuan County, Shandong Province. Born in a poor peasant family, he settled in yangmuchuan, Kuandian, Northeast China with his parents when he was young, and then went to Anton Badaogou to manage silk. He was elected president of Anton chamber of Commerce in 1911. Dong Bian Industrial Bank, Anton's first and largest private financial institution, was founded in 1918. Vigorously advocated the revitalization of education, set up schools, took the lead in donating and raising funds, and set up the eastern forestry middle school, business middle school and Anton girls' school.
