Wang Shangfu (1478-1531), named Jinfu and Canggu, was known as Wang Canggu, Mr. Canggu and cangguzi at that time. He was born in the southeast suburb of Jia county (now Likou Town, Jia County, Henan Province) of Ruzhou in Ming Dynasty, and his ancestral home was Shangcai (now Shangcai County, Henan Province). In the middle of Ming Dynasty, he was an official, a poet, a Confucian philosopher of Qi thought, and an envoy to Zhejiang Province. He is honest and upright, and his thinking is divergent, which complements the former theory of human nature. Together with Luo Qinshun, Wang Tingxiang, and Yang Shen, he constructs the theory of Qi, which is known as one of the "two kings of Qi" by later generations. He died in 1531 at the age of 54.
Life of the characters
Ming Xianzong Chenghua 14 years (1478) lunar October 25, was born in Ruzhou Jia county suburb Southeast (now in Henan Province Jia County Likou town).

In the 15th year of Hongzhi (1502), Jinshi was appointed chief of the military department.
Hongzhi seventeen years (1503) 26 years old, because of the death of his father Ding you, back home to guard the system. Wang Fu wrote "Xingju" for his father.
In the first year of Zhengde (1506) of emperor Wuzong of Ming Dynasty, he was reinstated as the head of the military department.
In the third year of Zhengde (1508), he served as the principal of Jixun department.
In the fourth year of Zhengde (1509), he was appointed as wailang, a member of Yifeng department, and then promoted to Jixun doctor.
In 1512, when he was a member of the Left Party of Shanxi Province and participated in politics, he offended Quan Huan and asked him to go back to his hometown to take care of his grandmother and mother.
In 1518, he was 41 years old. He was appointed to Sichuan left to participate in politics.
In 1521, two letters were sent to Zhang Chongde, persuading Sanxian academy to be changed into Ercheng temple.
In the fourth year of Jiajing reign of emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty (1525), he was 48 years old. He was appointed as the left member of Shaanxi Province to take part in politics and appease the bandits.
Jiajing six years (1526) 50 years old, due to the death of his mother, returned home to keep filial piety. Han Bangqi wrote the words "Xingzheng" for Nie's mother, Wang Yi wrote "Lei", LV Nan wrote "Nie's epitaph", and Kang Hai wrote "Mr. Pingshan's epitaph" for Wang's father.
In 1528, there was a famine in Henan Province. He played sixteen measures to save the famine.
In the eighth year of Jiajing reign (1529), he was reinstated and left Shaanxi took part in politics. Later, he studied Taoism and wrote the title of Songyang Academy.
Jiajing nine years (1530) served as Zhejiang right cloth minister.
Jiajing decade (1531) on October 21 of the lunar calendar, he died of illness during his term of office at the age of 54. In the same year, Wang Tong, the eldest son, compiled his life works into Canggu collection, with Wang Yi, Ma Li, dangyiping, Han Bangqi and Wang Chongqing as its preface.
Official measures
Wang Shangfu was a clean and honest official, loved the people and did not cling to the powerful. He has played for many times for the victims of the disaster to ask for relief food, which can be confirmed by his two chapters, i.e. petition for relatives and relatives, offering hardship to the victims and rats in the warehouse.
In the seventh year of Jiajing period (1528), there was a famine in Henan Province. He wrote sixteen measures to save the famine: "showing sympathy for famine, showing sympathy for the exposed, saving the middle class households, suspending the levy, punishing disbelief, purchasing power, being ready, being generous, saving punishment, stopping the price of craftsmen, advocating righteousness, serving the house, saving the refugees, paying attention to the official, planning and dealing with grain stations, banning the reform of official Xu Lishu.". Seeing that the idea was not adopted, he went back to Shangshu: "when he was a former minister, he began to serve in Jin and Shu, and went back to Jin after Qin Dynasty, he lived in the poor eaves for years. In 1530, when he was appointed as the right political envoy of Zhejiang Province, he said, "the government was in general, and there was a long history of malpractice. They are strict and tolerant. Resigning on the way
In 1512, Wang Shangfu, who was a member of the Left Party of Shanxi Province, offended Quan Huan and went back to his hometown to take care of his grandmother and mother. He lived in seclusion in Canggu temple at the foot of Canggu mountain, 60 Li northwest of Jia county (northwest of Sansu tomb). Together with his son, he built the prince's calling rain bridge on the Qinglong stream leading to Canggu temple. The bridge is more than Zhang high and is made of red stone. Now, years have passed, the silt has deposited, and the bridge only shows its vault among the weeds.
Wang Shangfu worshiped the three Su father and son, and donated a seven meter high and six meter wide "jade burial on Green Mountain" square in the three Su grave near Canggu temple. On the square column, there is a poem written by Su Shi that "it's a place where the bone can be buried, and the rain alone hurts the spirit"; on the square forehead, there are four words "jade burial on Green Mountain".
Canggu temple is built in the buffer zone at the foot of Canggu mountain, "the mountain is vast, the boulders are upright, the forest valleys are full of arches, the cliffs are surrounded, and the handsome people are all few Ren". It is adjacent to Cangshan Mountain in the north, Sheshan mountain in the South, Fengling mountain on the left, Huashan Mountain on the right, and Qinglong stream in the east of the temple. However, over the years, we can no longer see the sight of small bridges, streams and green water.
Canggu temple is now built by local people in the original site. In the early days of the founding of new China, Canggu temple was well preserved, villagers said. In the late 1950s, due to the lack of building materials for the construction of Hulutao Qianzhuang primary school, Canggu temple and the mountain gate were demolished, and the big trees on the mountain were also cut down. Stone tablets and other cultural relics are mostly buried at the bottom of the dam as building materials for the construction of Hongqi reservoir.
During his seclusion, Wang Shangfu visited Fengxue temple in Ruzhou many times and wrote poems such as youfengxue temple, pearl curtain, Daci spring, playing platform and Wugong cave.
Wang Shangfu also lived in Hujian villa (now on the West Bank of Hujian River, Huangdao Town, Jia County), "opened a sleepy cave to refresh his mind, built a horse and cattle pavilion to relax his worries, and built a reading platform to discuss and make friends with the ancients". Therefore, it is called cangguzi. Nowadays, the "sleepy hole" where he once dozed off can not be verified. Most of the "Mi Zhi Tang" he once wrote is near Zhuyuan village in today's Huangdao town.

Loyalty and filial piety
Wang Shangfu was determined to glorify his family and thought that escapism was not the work of Confucian scholars. He said that "those who go in and out of the way, who are disciplined to defend saints, and who are down and out like Ruan Shuzi, are not dares of Confucius and Mencius.". "To be loyal to one's life and filial to one's death, there is no escape.".
When Zhimu and his mother were late at night, they asked him to go back home to take care of them: "my grandmother Li Shi was 91 years old, and my mother Nie Shi was 66 years old. She was very ill and couldn't leave her bed. When she heard of the thief, she was frightened. Her old illness became more and more serious. She wanted to see me. Now he held a grudge, and his mother was old and ill, so he met the difficulties of support If there is something wrong with my mother, what will I do! The way of husband and wife
Wang Shangfu thinks that the way of husband and wife is "the beginning of humanity and the end of Wang Hua".
He said, "it's like poetry to feel heaven and earth and move ghosts and gods. Poetry has "song", "Ya" and "Feng" And the first one is Guanju. This study of his poetry, cover Yongge king of the empress also. Husband's virtue is like King Wen. He is filial, friendly and faithful. He can chant and sing. What's Gu's independence in Guan Ju? Is it not the beginning of the couple's humanity and the end of Wang Hua? Therefore, there are husband and wife, then father and son, and then monarch and minister. After his wife's death, Wang Shangfu once wrote: "when he inherits the present and the future, he should encourage Qingzhen and strengthen the family. I will raise my mother and send my father and mother away, so that I can settle my heart. That's why he gave up his loyalty for the rest of his life. Philosophy is more important than literary grace
In 1521, when he learned that his hometown was planning to build Sanxian academy, Wang Shangfu wrote two letters to Zhang Chongde, the then governor of Ruzhou. He thought that Cheng Yi should not be juxtaposed with er su (Su Shi and Su Zhe), and the name should be changed to Er Cheng (Cheng Yi and Cheng Hao) temple. Finally, the Academy was named "Shengxue academy" and dedicated to the worship of Ercheng.
The first letter said: "I didn't know who he was at the beginning when I called him sanxianyun. I read Yichuan (Cheng Yi), Dongpo (Su Shi) and Yingbin (Su Zhe) instead of Mingdao (Cheng Hao). The truth of the examination is always in you, and Dongpo has never arrived. There is no record of Yingbin's historical records. Today, the three sages, attack the ancient? Create the present? The second letter said: "the academy is called three sages, and Huang Jun's name is Cheng's Yichuan, Su's PO and Ying. It is said that the two sages are wise, and he is the master of Tao and Yichuan.
