In the third year of Yong'an (530), er zhurong and Yuan Tianmu, two powerful officials, were trapped and killed. They were captured by Er Zhuzhao and went north. They were hanged and killed in the third level Buddhist temple in Jinyang. They were 24 years old at that time.

Emperor Xiaozhuang yuanziyou, whose name is Yanda, is the grandson of emperor Xianwen tuobahong and the third son of yuanxie, the king of Pengcheng. His mother is Li Yuanhua, who was initially granted the title of founding Duke of Wucheng county.

In the second year of Xiaochang (526), he became the king of Changle. Ascend to the throne as Emperor

In order to prevent the mother of the prince from interfering in politics as empress dowager in the future, the Northern Wei Dynasty learned from the story of the death of Mrs. Gou Yi by Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, and formed a barbaric tradition: after the prince was appointed, the mother of the prince was killed. The dynasty established this as a system, which lasted for more than 100 years. Empress Dowager Hu poisoned her parents and children, which was not only cruel, but also stupid. At that time, Yuan Xu gave birth to her daughter, Yuan girl. Empress Dowager Hu pretended to give birth to a boy and made the baby girl emperor. Knowing that there was no way to hide it, Empress Dowager Hu soon announced that "the so-called prince was originally a princess.". Yuanzhao, the nephew of Yuanxu's family and only 3 years old, was set up as the emperor, and the whole world was in an uproar.

This kind of important event is such a trifle. Empress dowager Hu has taken politics too simply. Er zhurong, the chieftain of the khehu tribe, was the first to make an attack. On the one hand, he declared that he wanted to trace the cause of the death of the emperor Yuanxu, and on the other hand, he did not recognize the Empress Dowager Hu's government. Er zhurong discusses with Yuan Tianmu, the governor of Bingzhou, that he plans to make yuan Ziyou emperor. So he sends his nephew Er Zhu Tianguang to Luoyang to meet yuan Ziyou secretly. As a result, only the bronze statue of yuanziyou was successfully cast, and erzhurong made up his mind to support yuanziyou.

In the first year of Wutai (528), in April of Xia Dynasty, yuanziyou crossed the river north with his brothers at night; Ding you joined Er zhurong in Heyang; in 1898, he was Jihe to the south, that is, the emperor's throne. Then, er zhurong went to the outskirts to meet the new emperor yuan Ziyou. After he lured all the civil and military officials to Taozhu (now Xiaolangdi of the Yellow River), he surrounded them with cavalry regiments and announced the crime, saying, "it's your responsibility for the decline and chaos of the country!" More than 2000 senior nobles and officials, including yuan Yong, the Prime Minister of the Northern Wei Dynasty, Yuan Shao, the brother of the new emperor, and Yuan Zizheng, were killed under the trample of cavalry. The imperial court was empty, which is known as "the change of Heyin". Later, governor Gao Huan advised Er zhurong to be emperor. Er zhurong also had this idea, so he ordered his cronies to house arrest yuan Ziyou, the new emperor, in bianmu. However, he boyue's strong opposition, together with the failure of casting statues and divination, led to the official accession of Yuan Ziyou to the throne and the change of Yuan Jianyi.

The dictatorship of Erzhu

Er zhurong and his party members supported yuan Ziyou to ascend the throne. Er zhurong married her daughter Er zhuying'e to Yuan Ziyou as Queen. Yuan Ziyou is also aware of his own situation. Although he is an emperor, his own strength is far from that of Er zhurong. From the point of view of the army, almost all the troops who are good at fighting in the Middle Kingdom are under the command of Er zhurong, and as long as he moves his finger, he will not be able to fight back. From the point of view of the imperial government, Yuan Tianmu, er zhushilong and others occupy the key position of the imperial court, and their left and right sides are all Er Zhus. From the point of view of territory, Guanzhong, Shandong, Hebei and Shanxi are all in the hands of Er Zhus In the hands of the clans and their party members, they can only fight for Luoyang and Henan.

In danger

Er zhurong's power fell to the government and the opposition, and the careerists in the officialdom ran to Jinyang, and ER zhurong recommended a large number of officials. But yuan Ziyou knew that the land of Henan was the capital for him to turn over. He would never give up to ER zhurong again and again, so he resolutely refused Er zhurong's request to be an official for his party. Er zhurong did not give up and continued to instruct yuan Tianmu to reiterate this unreasonable request to Yuan Ziyou. In the face of Yuan Tianmu's hard work, Yuan Ziyou still sticks to the bottom line. Seeing that the lobbying was not successful, Yuan Tianmu finally became angry and said, "Tianzhu has made great contributions and is the Prime Minister of the country. If you ask him to be the official of the whole country, I'm afraid his majesty will not disobey it. How can you recommend several people as state officials instead of using them?". In the face of this naked threat, Yuan Ziyou didn't show any weakness and gave tit for tat: "if Er zhurong is not a minister, he will replace me as well. If he has the integrity of ministers, he will not be able to replace all the officials in the world!" Yuanziyou expressed his determination: as long as I am the emperor, this country will be mine; if Er zhurong wants to be the emperor, he will take it. I will not be so willing to be a puppet.

Seeing the failure of his trial, er zhurong was very angry and said, "who is the emperor to stand for! I don't need to talk to you today! " But because the world was not stable at that time, er zhurong did not dare to act rashly. Taking advantage of the calming down of Guanzhong, er zhurong sent out a test again and told the imperial court: "he joined the army, Xu Zhou advised his ministers to take Jiuxi, but they were evil and had already sent orders." Since the establishment of the Northern Wei Dynasty, no one has enjoyed such a reward. Er zhurong was not satisfied with Tianzhu's position as general. He knew that after accepting the ceremony of Jiuxi, he was only one step away from the position of emperor, so he put forward this request to yuanziyou. But Er zhurong also knew the weight of the request, so he also put it very mildly. In the face of Er zhurong's asking for directions again, Yuan Ziyou is even more disgusted and resentful. He immediately goes down the slope and praises Er zhurong for his good work. He has the honor of being a minister, leaving him no illusion. Seeing that this plan failed, er zhurong didn't give up. He knew it was time to go to Luoyang in person and clear up all those old historical accounts.

After this, the whole government and the public were shocked: this time, he went to Beijing on the pretext of visiting his daughter. Everyone was not convinced. They thought that there must be a huge conspiracy in ER zhurong's trip. For Luoyang, this is no doubt the general news of the earthquake. The whole city is worried and worried. As soon as the news of Er zhurong came out, timid people such as Zhongshu's servant Xing Shao had already left the city and rushed East. The confidants around yuanziyou were also very sensitive to the news. Chengyang Wang Yuanhui, Li Yu and others urged yuanziyou to take this opportunity to send troops to assassinate Er zhurong. However, Jiyin Wang yuanhuiye and others, who are more cautious, think that if Er zhurong comes to Luoyang, he must be on guard. If he is assassinated, it is hard to do. Some people even proposed to fight with ER zhurong, first kill all his members in Luoyang, and then send troops to resist. In the face of different opinions, Yuan Ziyou has no opinion and doubts.
