Li Jie
(12th century AD) [Southern Song Dynasty] zizishan, the year of birth and death is unknown, the history of Song Dynasty has no biography, and the history of painting is missing. Heyang (now Mengxian County, Henan Province) is a native of Fuxi, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. In the first year of emperor Guangzong's reign of Shaoxi (1190), he took shangshulang as the transport envoy of Sichuan capital, and then offered his ancestral temple to retire. Bu Zhuxi, also known as "fishing society". He had contacts with Fan Chengda, Zhou Bida, Zhao Xiong, Hong Mai, you Mao and other famous scholars. He is good at poetry and painting, especially good at landscape. His handed down works include the painting of Xuexi fishing club, silk manuscript and ink painting, 40.7 cm in length and 135.5 cm in width (the picture is seriously broken), depicting the scenery of Yixi manor in Buju. The courtyard hall, Lianchi waterside pavilion, gaoliuguoshu, Xiaoqiao Quxi and GouLan are all vivid. After the volume are fan chengdaba in 1185, hongmaiba in 1188, Zhou Bida in 1190, Zhao xiongba in 1185, Wang Lin in 1191, Yan Cangshu and you Maoba in 1191, all of which are inscribed at the request of the host. Then there are wengye's poems in 1275, Dong Qilu in Ming Dynasty, e Rong'an and Shen Deqian in Qing Dynasty. This picture is a true portrayal of the scholar bureaucrat's manor in the early Xiaozong period of the Southern Song Dynasty (1163-1173). It is the only isolated painting in the Song Dynasty handed down from generation to generation. It has high historical value and is now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of art.
