Wang Weiyuan, also known as yechen, was born in Fugu County, Shaanxi Province. In 1870, there were many people. He was good at calligraphy, especially in the book of changes, but he failed in many subjects for some reason, so he set up a lecture hall.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, when Fugu Ronghe Academy was transformed into a primary school, Wei Yuan was the first principal. It was in the period of reform between the old and the new. He boldly abandoned the old habits and tried to keep pace with the times. He has done his best to deal with school affairs, and has been on the stage to teach tirelessly, which has won the respect of teachers and students. In 1922, the student who benefited from the virtue of Mr. Lu Zhiwang set up a "moral education monument" outside the South Gate of the county. In his later years, Wei Yuan devoted himself to writing the local records of Fugu. Despite his old age and height, he trekked all the villages in the county, made extensive investigation and comprehensive collection. After years of lying at his desk day and night, carefully edited and deleted, he finally wrote the local records of Fugu.
