Xuanjue Zen master (665-713) was a monk in Tang Dynasty. Wenzhou Yongjia (now Zhejiang) people, common surname Dai. Words tell the truth. Hao Yongjia xuanjue.

At that time, the world also called him master Zhenjue, the name of Shifa was "Yuanjue", and the name of Shishi was xuanjue. The reason why later generations called him Yuanjue was that he avoided the name taboo of Emperor Kangxi (emperor Xuanye), so he was called Yuanjue. He became a monk when he was eight years old. He had a good knowledge of Sanzang, especially Tiantai. Later, he built his own Buddhist nunnery under the side rock of Longxing Temple in Wenzhou. He lived alone and studied Buddhism. Occasionally, inspired by Zuoxi xuanlang, Zuoxi and Dongyang xuance set out to travel together. When he arrived at Yunyang, he paid a visit to Huineng in Caoxi, and got his seal by answering with Huineng. Huineng stayed for one night and returned to Longxing Temple the next day, which was called "one night sleep". After that, scholars gathered together and named master Zhenjue. Xuanlang donated books to Shanqi, and Shifu dismissed him. On October 17, the second year of Xiantian (the second year of Kaiyuan or the first year of Xiantian), he sat in silence and lived for 49 years. The imperial posthumous title is "Wu Xiang". He has written a song of preaching, a volume of Zen master's enlightenment and a volume of Yongjia collection (compiled by Wei Jing, governor of Qingzhou). What he said was in line with the nature of Zen, but no one confirmed it. Xuance said,? The benevolent is your xuanjue. From which you get the Dharma, you get the Dharma? Who is your master? Who is your master! Where do you get the Dharma? Which master do you serve? According to which Zen master? What is Fang et al? It's the law of equality. It's multiplication. The Mahayana Dharma says that all things are equal in all ten directions, so the square Sutra is called the Mahayana sutra. I've heard Mahayana classics, such as the Huayan Sutra, the fahua Sutra, the great Prajna Nirvana Sutra, the VIMA Sutra and the shengsai Sutra. These are all Mahayana classics. After listening to Fang et al's Sutra and reading this Mahayana sutra theory, each of them has his own learning. It means that there are different views. But, because you want to enter Zen, you must have the same method. When you see all forms, you will leave all forms and enter the realm of Buddhism. If you start to think, you will become mortals, won't you? If I put it down at the moment, the Buddha's nature will be in front of me, realizing the Buddha's heart sect, but no one will prove it to me,. Xuan CE said,. This sentence is not enlightened, and it's not right to write it. It's hard to see what it really means? But if you are enlightened, you will naturally know what his answer means. It's easy to read from the text, but from the text, you don't know what he's answering. What do you think of the words? Xuance said: before the birth of the king of Wei Yin, it is OK to prove the Buddha's Dharma, and the king of Wei Yin is the Tathagata; after the birth of the king of Wei Yin, if there is no instruction from the master, the self certifiers are all ordinary laymen. That's the literal explanation. Not really. you need to see the annotation in the Sutra of the sixth patriarch. It's written in this way in every book. Everybody! The man who understands the Tao has a voice out of the string. This sentence definitely doesn't mean that. I'll go through the annotation to see and refer to it like this. It's not right! Absolutely wrong. What does he mean? Let me tell you first: xuance says: the king of Wei Yin, the Tathagata, has been acquired before. This king of Wei Yin means that there was a Buddha called the king of Wei Yin, the Tathagata, before Wuliang robbery. It means: the Buddha nature has existed since wuliangjie, and the original pure self nature is our true colors. In fact, this king of prestige means limitless robbery. Then the annotation explains it like this: the pure self nature of your enlightenment existed long before wuliangyijie, and that is our true colors. This is the right explanation. after the king of Wei Yin, there is no teacher to understand himself. He is full of natural heretics. What is after the king of Wei yin? Hearing this sound, I think I'm good at it. Self realization without a teacher means that the day after tomorrow, plus one's own knowledge and views, one thinks that one can realize something. In fact, this sentence means that knowledge and views can't establish knowledge, and that the pure self nature which has existed for a long time is our own thing. And you can't add any knowledge the day after tomorrow. After the king of Wei Yin came, he had no teacher to understand himself. He was full of natural Taoism. In fact, he added a layer of knowledge and insight to seek Dharma. 。 You help me to prove that I have no enlightenment. Master xuance said it. I don't have much weight in my speech.. Those who accept the Dafa of the sixth patriarch, if you want to go, I will walk with you and salute the sixth patriarch.

I don't even know the basic politeness, prestige, propriety and propriety, and I'm slow to grow up. Where are you from? Why don't we take the truth that the body is empty and lifeless? Why don't we take all kinds of methods and have no self nature, that is, when the body is empty, that is, there is no life?? Isn't that faster? You realize that when the body is empty, the present is lifeless, and life and death are solved? If you start thinking, you will have life and death! Put down the attachment to the phase, life and death, is not faster? Why don't the body take no life, when the body is empty, there is no speed? Isn't that faster? When you realize that the body is empty, you realize that the present is still lifeless. Body now, you can understand the heart, now is no life.. People who are fully aware have no speed at all. Our mind is not fast and slow. It proves that although I'm a little slow, I'm also an enlightened person. I'm just a little used to it. Scripture

Oh, it's time to salute. In a flash, soon, two words enlightened, confirmed OK, and went back: liuzu said,? You'll go back in a moment, won't it be too soon?? Our quiet self nature has no idea. What's fast and slow? Liuzu asked intentionally. In fact, this sentence is an exam to see if he has a thorough understanding. Take a test with him. The sixth patriarch asked me clearly.? Who can know such a heart as immovable?. If I don't move, it's my own understanding. You say that moving and immobility are your own differences. I don't have the problem of moving and immobility here. If I don't move, you ask me: who knows the heart that doesn't move? It's you who have the idea of non movement. You use your mind to ask me for a moment. That is to say: it's your question that your sixth ancestor asked me, but I just don't move. That's what I mean. Who knows not to move? Who can know this heart that is not moving? I knew it. Why do you need to ask? If you ask, you will ask only when you make a difference. Benevolent people are born with their own differences. Six ancestors, you have your own differences. You have a non moving heart. If you have a non moving heart, you come to ask me.. You have a good understanding of the true meaning of "when the body is empty, there is no life and no death". If you don't pay attention to it, life and death will stop. The problem is that our inertia and habits are hard to break. You know the true meaning of Wu Sheng very well, that is, you know the heart of Wu Sheng.? What's the idea of a man who realizes that he has no life? What is the idea of this ideology? Liu Zu tested him again and asked again.? If you don't have this heart and don't have this meaning, who will separate this heartless? No life?. I have the ability to separate myself! I don't have a world apart. The difference of my pure heart is absolutely the heart that I don't think of separately. My pure difference is not the idea of a worldly person, not the idea of a birth and death method. One night,. Why don't you stay for one night? It's called a night's sleep. The sixth ancestor told him, why don't you go after a night's sleep?.
