Niu Xiji
Ci writers of the Five Dynasties. （872？ ～？） Longxi (now Gansu) people. The nephew of Niu Qiao. In his early years, he had a literary name. When he was in a state of disorder, he lived in Shu and lived in Qiao. Later, he was appreciated by Wang Jian, the former master of Shu. When Wang Yan was the master of the former Shu Dynasty, he was a scholar of the Imperial Academy and a censor of Zhongcheng. In the third year of Tongguang (925) of Zhuangzong in the later Tang Dynasty, he descended to the later Tang Dynasty with the former Shu leader. In the Ming Dynasty, he paid homage to the Deputy envoy of Yongzhou.

Niu Xiji, whose name is unknown, was born in Longxi (today's Gansu Province) and the nephew of Niu Qiao. The year of birth and death is unknown, about the time when Emperor Taizu of Hou Liang lived in Qianhua. Shi Shu was a scholar of the Imperial Academy and Zhongcheng. In the third year of Tongguang (925 A.D.), Shu died and descended to the later Tang Dynasty. Emperor Zongbai of the Ming Dynasty was appointed Deputy envoy of Yongzhou. Huajian CI is known as Niu Xueshi, which is composed by Xiji. Now there are 14 Poems (see the Ci of Tang and Five Dynasties). All of them are fresh and natural, without carving. Now there is a volume of Niu Zhongcheng CI compiled by Wang Guowei.
Niu Xiji is famous for his ci. Today, there are 14 Ci poems, which are collected in Hua Jian Ji and Ci of Tang and Five Dynasties. Although he and Niu Qiao are nephew uncle, the content of their CI is also about lovesickness and parting, but their styles are different. Niu Qiao's Ci is gorgeous, while Niu Xiji's is natural and close to Wei Zhuang's.
His famous poem "Linjiang Fairy" chants the twelve peaks of Wushan mountain. Xiahe wrote: "since the king of Chu's dream was broken, there was no way to meet each other in the world. So far, clouds and rain have a sad look. When the moon falls on the river, the morning bell moves The ci poetry of Qing Dynasty has always been praised for its beauty and sadness. In shengzhazi, it is said that "spring mountain smoke is about to be collected", and that lovers love each other in the morning, "remember the green skirt, and feel pity for the grass everywhere", which is a famous sentence. Such as linjiangxian, Dongting waves and sunny days, jiuquanzi and pillow turning cool, all of them are fresh and less carved; shengchazi, crescent like eyebrow, has more folk flavor. His deeds can be seen in the spring and Autumn period of the Ten Kingdoms, Qianshu.

Comment and explanation
When lovers leave each other, they have a kind of indescribable love. This word describes a kind of deep and sentimental emotion with clear and euphemistic language.
