Jiao Bingyan, whose name is Jifu, was born in Xixiang (now Jiaocun town) of Southern Song Dynasty. In the 13th year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (1220), Wu Ju was granted and Cheng Jielang was granted. In the first year of Chunhu (1241), he was granted Jinshi and served as the prefect of biaoZhou (now Yichun, Jiangxi Province). He was promoted to Taichang Shaoqing and went to Youwen hall to write.
Bingyan was an honest and upright official. He was not afraid of the powerful. He was jealous of the evil as well as the evil. He once wrote a poem: "when it comes to admonishing the palace, you can't say anything. What's your honor as the prime minister?" "although there is no trace, there is ignorance in your heart.". If a bird does not get it, it does not dare to abandon it. In 1229, the second year of shaoding in Song Dynasty, Emperor LiZong Zhao Yun granted his brothers the title of No. 1 scholar in civil and military affairs, and established the title of No. 1 scholar in civil and military affairs in Jiaocun, his hometown. Chen Bingyan loves the beautiful scenery of Huangshan Mountain, his hometown. He has visited Huangshan Mountain many times and written many praise poems. The famous Ode to Huangshan Mountain describes in detail the unique scenery of the five famous mountains.
