Wenzisheng (495-547), whose name is Pengju, was born in Yuanqu County, Jiyin county (now Heze City, Shandong Province). From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Eastern Wei Dynasty, he was a minister, a writer, a descendant of Wen Qiao, a general of Jin Dynasty, and the son of Wen Hui, the governor of Jiyin.

In the early years of emperor Xiaoming, he was recruited by yuankuang, the king of Dongping, and served as a censor at the age of 22. In the second year of emperor Xiaowu's Yongxi reign (533), he served as a servant, a scholar, and a sacrificial person. Literary achievements

In the literary history from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Qi Dynasty, Wen Zisheng was a famous writer and poet. His poems and essays spread to the south of the Yangtze River.
